The freshmen looked coached up, the offense looked faster and more decisive and the general sense was that everyone knew their roles. A few penalties but not the meetkat offense comedy of errors with confused looks and burning timeouts trying to get plays off.

Just refreshing to watch. Even if it was BYU.

WR's looked like veterans. And we played more than 2 of them!

Were there any delay of game penalties? I don't remember any.

If not, awesome job by the coaches.

Many of these improvements were evident after Miles was fired. People didn't give enough credit to O because they wanted Herman. But O fixed a ton of crap last year.

NOT EVERYBODY WANTED HERMAN first. stop generalizing like the morons bashing chavis blowing a 34 point lead acting like that shite happened all the time here. chavis bailed miles out so many times i lost count. left his guys on field. no offensive support but it is all his fault for a few game winning drives where the D played well all game.

No dude, chavis deserves the shite he is getting. He had better talent at LSU and that was nothing to do with Chavis, he doesn't even recruit.

There was one. I think it was on one of our first half touchdown drives

It was obvious the coaches were in control. The players kept themselves in check and didnt act like fools or commit msny penalties. Those guys who violated team rules sat out. The team played very well for the openinng day game. Our coordinators were on point and the HC managed the players and situations very well. This team may not win a natty but they will definitely win most of the games they play this year. Our recruiting for next year will yield big results. The program will be fine as long as we have Aranda and Canada

8 different players with receptions! That's a change, sometimes we didn't even complete 8 passes.
