Just got my tickets for the Fiesta Bowl and have a question

Going to an LSU bowl game is a bucket list event for me since I live in CA. Just received my tickets in the mail and it says something about Fan Fest. It mentions bands and I wondered if the TGBFTL will be there.

I would guess they probably would.

They have been there in the past.

Where in the Bay area are you, if I may ask?

Actually we lived in Pleasanton for years but moved up east of Sacramento last year.

I've never been to the Fiesta Bowl, but yeah, some of the bigger bowls will have like a pre-game pep rally type of thing where the bands play and whatnot. Sounds like that's what that is.

TGBFTL will be making the trip. The whole band usually travels to one road game, and the bowl trip which is part of their end of the year awards banquet. I'm sure some of the band if not the whole band will attend FanFest. When they went to bowl games in Orlando, they also marched in the bowl parade. If the Fiesta Bowl has a parade, I'm sure TGBFTL will march in it as well.
Enjoy !!
Enjoy !!

When I was in Tiger Band, we always had to play for whatever "Fan Fest" there was before a given bowl game, so I'd venture to guess the GBFTL will be in attendance.
Usually, Fan Fest has a band, a pep rally for each team, food and beer booths, and inflatables for kids.

Auburn? Grass Valley? Folsom?
I lived in Roseville\Rocklin for about 7 years.

Oddly, that was the last place I lived before leaving in 2006. Very short time there, maybe 3-4 months....spent the majority of my time in Roseville\Rocklin while working at Placer Sierra Bank.........before they were bought out.

West coast baws repping!
Live just outside of Seattle but down in the Auburn/Rocklin area all the time to go along with my frequent jaunts down to the south bay/ La Honda area.

I know there are some in my neighborhood because every once and a while we'll have a thread on NextDoor about SEC football and several LSU Tigers have commented. Then someone says Roll Tide and ruins it for everyone.

Considered it, as it is an easy flight and all, but will be staying put. If we were playing a bigger name opponent like Michigan, we would likely go.
