Any major disciplinary issues?
Players opting over the past couple of years?
Noteworthy players entering the transfer portal (not counting this year)?
Major injury issues that could be directly associated with lack of strength and conditioning?
Thanks and I will hang up and listen.

No, but it’s a lot harder to get into ND, so discipline would never be a big problem.

Certainly didn’t have players opting out after losing the 1st game of the season

2022 currently 3 in portal with 2 committed including Lawrence Keys from NO, a QB and a 4* safety.

8/19/20 through 6/29/21 19 in portal. 17 left and 2 returned.

8/10/19 through 5/28/20 4

12/25/18 through 8/9/19 6

LINK 247 link to ND transfer portal listings, just toggle the year you want to see.

No, most players go to ND for the program and degree. It’s very rarely about football first for those guys.

You are welcome.

You can also toggle over to other schools to see their transfer portal activity. Check out the other SEC teams and see how they compare to LSU.

A degree from Notre Dame is invaluable. Unlike LSU and other public universities with elite football programs, football players don't just use that university as a stepping stone to the NFL. They have the best of both worlds as long as they can qualify and put in the work.

Apparently you don’t that’s why you are making a post to complain about something that really doesn’t matter. If you follow Kelly or nd u would know the answers. Stop fishing for shyt to bitch about

Just curious...............haven't fished in years! And you are right I know very little about Notre Dame other than they have beaten us twice with Kelly as HC.

Lets stop acting like the Notre Dame athletes are all enrolled in biomedical engineering and pre-med.

They are athletes and whether you choose to believe it or not they receive special treatment at every university across the country including Notre Dame.

I read on one site that Notre Dame Athletes are required to maintain a 2.0 GPA. The fact that Notre Dame is/was able to get a top 5 class this year tells me they aren't going out and recruiting nothing but Rhodes Scholars.

I assure you the difference in expectations at ND and at LSU are not because of the perceived differences in academic expectations.

The difference is completely done from the top down.

Kelly will have us in shape.

LSU football alums damned sho nuff get good jobs with area industries. Often with the title project manager without having to manage much other than hobnobbing with clients

True, but whatever the degree is in doesn't really matter when it comes from certain schools. That paper will open a lot of doors when football is done.

First post on TD…unfortunately he was coach during a cheating scandal in which 2 players had a trainer doing work for them and six players total were found to have received improper benefits by the NCAA. ND had to vacate all its wins from 2012 and 2013 because those players played. ND is also currently on probation for recruiting violations.
