Losing on Sunday , gave my son and I the opportunity to go up on Monday ! What a game; wish my daughter and wife would have been able to attend but just wasn’t meant to be!

It was my first time too. My son came to me in January and told me his wish for his Senior trip was a trip to Omaha. "Just you and me dad!" How could I resist!
We had tickets to the first two games of the final series and my wife surprised us with one more ticket to see the final game.

It was everything I thought it would be and even more. Making the trip with my son was going to be awesome but for LSU to be there and win the whole thing, nothing will ever top it as far as sporting events go.

I need to plan ahead for next year. My plan was to go this year when we made it to the finals, but airline and hotel rooms were ridiculous. Already spoke with uncle and were are definitely securing everything in advance for next year!

1st timer too. Wife and I went up and watched the first 2 games. Came home, and then went back for the Championship Series. Our son was able to come with us for the 2nd weekend.

Had a great time.

I got a call from a friend Thursday, he an 7 other guys were driving up. They needed 8 SRO tickets, I got in line for them Saturday morning. They were driving up to the stadium as I was getting to the ticket window. I got 4, since that was the limit. They got in line and got the other 4.

We watched the woman’s basketball for the whole tournament and my daughter wanted to drive and watch the championship and we didn’t. When they won the championship she said “see we could have been there and part of history”.
We were watching the WF game and when they pulled it out and won she said “dad let’s go we can’t miss history”.
I told her and the wife to find tickets for Sundays game and I would agree to go, they bought tickets at 1030pm Thursday and we left at noon Friday and drove to Joplin. We got up at 430am sat and rolled straight to the field and dropped them off at 10am and they got SRO for game one. Watched the blood bath on Sunday. Daughter stated “dad sorry we wasted the money on those tickets” I told her we pay for memory’s not wins and tomorrow was still a chance.
Monday was epic, I told them it was almost like a script for a movie. We did Rocco’s every day, watched the team walk out the hotel and the atmosphere was just electric.
She made me promise if they go again that we go.

First time for my dad and I. Drove through the night Friday to make it for game 1 Saturday. Amazing experience and would definitely do it again but will fly next time.

On a side note anyone know how to get a physical copy of your CWS final tickets? They flashed that ad a few times on the scoreboard but I never caught it before they moved on.

First time for me! I live in Houma and never got to see Skenes pitch. Decided on a whim to fly up to Kansas City Friday and took my stepson who lives in St. Joe for the Tennessee game. It was an awesome experience. I couldn’t stay for the rest of the games so I flew back Sunday but I did (with an incredible amount of anxiety) watch all of the other games. Wouldn’t have missed it for anything. The LSU contingent was strong and amazing. Can’t wait to come back. Geaux Tigers!

LSU fans the only reason why they even have SRO tickets.

4 of us went for the first time. We left Friday and spent the night in Fayetteville. Our hotel was in Council Bluffs. Much cheaper. Driving in was super easy, parking was 10-15 bucks. Lots of food options, our favorite was the Old Mattress Factory. We drove all the way back Tuesday, which was brutal. We bought tickets every day on Stub Hub.

I would highly recommend this trip to every baseball fan.
