I spoke to his younger bother about it. It's a bulging disk, he had a steroid injection, around the nerve, a few weeks ago. It's a bad sign that he isn't back, after the injection.

Bulging disc can be fixed most times with discectomy. You can have that and literally be back on field in 4-6 weeks.

He threw a full bullpen the other week, although it does seem to be a pain management deal.

Also, could have foraminotomy but has had neither, so at this point it’s just time and could get better or worse.

Microdiscectomy are for herniated disc. I had one and it helped.

Yes he will leave because he’s a big bullpen piece at the best program in the country
