Hire Kendall Briles as the OC. Problems solved

The D will be back mauling teams again

Let O rip his shirt off in the Bama locker room

I think Arranda will be great one day, but it’s too early to hand him the keys to the LSU football program. What if Baylor loses to WV this Saturday? Would you still want Arranda then? Curious.

Okay for you people downvoting. Seriously, what has Arranda done to give him the head coaching job here? Would really love to know.

Can you guarantee briles as the OC? Is his name so toxic a smaller school wouldn’t poach him as HC?

Yes. He’s hyper organized and I would never have to worry about the defense being the worst in the history of our organization.

He also knows exactly what he doesn’t like to face on offense * cough* Dan Mullen *cough* and will recruit to that exact style. Not lick his finger and stick
It in the wind to see what the fans want.

The team went to shite the second Aranda walked out the door. I know he had the co-HC title or something like that in 2019 but I wonder how much involvement he had. It was literally a completely different mindset the following year when he left

Aranda wouldn't be my first choice, but I would take him over other names that have been thrown around, like Kiffin and O'Brien.

You guys think of coaching staffs like you’re building legos and that’s not how it works.

Until it happened and we lost our first game.

What has Aranda done that warrants a top ten program gig?

He can recruit he’s just not elite at it. He is an elite DC and has elite management/organization skills.

He also does recruit to his defense very well. Knows the puzzle pieces he needs and it isn’t always star gazing, he can evaluate and develop.

I wouldn’t hate it. Just hire a great OC and retain a bunch of recruiters on staff. .

While I agree with your point, you do realize AFTER Arranda left, we lost 14 players to the NFL, not including the likes of Jamar who opted out. We also lost Joe Brady, and another big name in there is Burrow. While I’m not saying Arranda leaving didn’t have a major impact, you pointing out that Arranda leaving after 2019 is why LSU has gone to shite, there are numerous other variables that are in play other than Arranda.

Aranda was to O's organization what Cutcliffe was to Fulmer's. He brought a structure and organization that we have sorely missed the last two years. I'd gladly take him back. I always wondered why he didn't get the interim tag instead of O to begin with.

I like Aranda. I always felt secure/comfortable that he would take of care of business on his side of the ball, and he did 90% of the time.

He’s just getting an early start on the fake narratives we’re sure to get flooded with surrounding every name mentioned during the upcoming search. Gotta plant the seeds early if you want it to grow into a full patented Rant alter reality.
