The pipeline of talent is amazing.

I think we'll get average SEC QB play this year. I know why some will disagree, but I think we have bottomed out and will rise to average level-or-better in 2015, and above average for the 4+ years to follow

LSU will dominate much more than what many think. The surface-level thinkers have no idea what is building with Coach O, Wilson, Miles,etc...

I predict LSU to at least make either the SECCG or Final 4 in EACH of the next 4 years, and championships are likely to flow our way unlike any time ever in LSU football history.

We are entering the Purple & Golden Era of LSU football.

Buckle up and get excited.

No better feeling than setting your expectations for average QB play

Saw replay of 3 OT loss to Ark from 07 championship year and wonder how many would be surprised that Flynn had 14 TD and 10 INTs going into that game.

We will have average QB play this year. That's what happens when your talent is average to begin with. I'd jump for joy for average with this group

Why do you think that? You cant just say shite like that and not try to support it. Just because you THINK it's going to happen, doesnt mean it even has a chance of happening. What has changed to make you think our QB play will be better?

Take off the P&G glasses for a minute and tell us, truthfully, why you think this will happen.

We had a fantastic rushing offense last year. We had the best Defense in the conference. We had extremely good performances on special teams.

...and we had a season on par with the worst of the Les Miles Era...

Only here's the problem: The defense was at fault last time. Les made a change and things improved. This time, the offense is at fault, and Les ain't gonna change jack sh!t.

Look for mediocrity to continue. The ego that drives big-time college football coaches won't allow Les to change his stripes nor to do some honest introspection to admit the man in the mirror is the biggest impediment to his program's dominance.

I think we have a real chance to be a lot better this year than many are giving us credit for, but come on dude, winning the West and possibly making the playoffs four years in a row? Not even most Alabama fans are delusional enough to expect that.

No we aren't going to dominate with just average QB play. We are supposedly a top ten program, we should do better then just 'average' QB play.

Well Jennings is below average and I think he has hit his ceiling, still missed wide open receivers in the spring game. Harris is our hope and like many on here I think he has potential to be better than average.

200 YPG passing with 1.5 TDs per game and LSU is in the hunt for the West and Playoffs. Anything less than 150 yards and 1 TD per game and LSU is looking at less than 9 wins again. Anything in between and LSU is looking at 10-11 wins.

I agree with this statement, yet this really isn't a high standard for QB play and it's way above what we can expect from Jennings and it's why Harris is a better option.

That is the definition of mediocre QB play. I should also say that those numbers need to include less than 7 turnovers.
