Yea, well the ones complaining about everything under the sun becuz the sky is falling are the ones with vaginas.. they need to trust in the main man and let BK do his thing…he does have a proven track record everywhere he has been..let him work…

There is no loyalty in big time business and LSU football is big time business. Dude was making over $500M annually but he found a better situation for him. Corey Raymond wasn't "loyal and committed", nor should he have been.

Yeah it’s Raymond’s fault that LSU suffered so many injuries in the secondary. Man you people are unbelievable

First, this is a message board for LSU. Discussion about what is going on in LSU athletics is what it is here for. What is a said here doesn't matter in the real world, for the most part.
Kelly has to make his own decisions. We can still discuss whether we agree or not, that's what we are here for. I think he has made some poor decisions or led to some poor outcomes. Kelly has earned the benefit of the doubt that he may be correct. If he turns out to be right, we will cheer and support him. If not, LSU will have made another very expensive mistake.

I appreciate his effort and availability, but Evans has definitely not looked great. 3rd and short he’s playing 10 yards off and giving up an easy hitch route. Missed tackles. No plays on the ball.

Exactly what was Eli Ricks' injury, again?

Yep. Grown adults... tweeting at and posting social media zingers at 16 to 21 year old for the tough decisions they make.
Grown adults arguing and yelling for months that changes are needed.... then changes are made and folks are still going crazy.
There will be more folks transfer out. There will be a few players decide to opt out of the bowl game. More coaches may move on to other jobs. You may not think the coordinator hires are sexy enough for you....
It ain't personal and it doesn't mean the world is ending.
Hang in there folks. We're going to be alright....
P.S. Quit fussing at 16-21 year olds for the tough decisions and choices they make. You are not looking through their lens.

Why not? He helped shepherd Stingley and Ricks. No? He did not build DBU...at all. Why leave the failed staff in place? I think a total clearing was in order.

Some unasked for views from outside the LSU system, but here goes anyway:
When I left Louisiana for Nebraska in the early 90s, the Nebraska sports system was second-to-none.
Most of us didn't realize how important the entire athletic culture was to the success of the program.
At that time, everyone was on the same page. The Regents, the university president, the athletic director, the coaches, the food service people, the stadium workers, the tutors, the professors, the janitors -- everyone was on the same page -- make the system the best that it can be.
We thought that would go on forever. Then an athletic director did some dumb things. There started to be questioning of coaches. Some professors and the university president felt the athletic department was getting too much attention. On and on.
Over the past 20 years, we have changed coaches, athletic directors, assistants, and nothing has worked.
I believe it hasn't worked because those coaching changes didn't get to the root cause of the problem -- the bad culture.
Right now, I think we have the right coach, the right athletic director, and the right university administration, but it may take a long, long time to change the culture.
Give the new LSU coach a long time. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen immediately. It may take a while to get the entire culture turned around.
LSU is lucky. You have a much better situation for your coach to start with than we have yet in Nebraska. I'm looking forward to LSU winning the SEC year after year. Start with beating Texas each year!

I do not post a lot because of the culture on this board. People asked for a change and then complain about the very changes they asked for. Complain about how those changes come about. It is clear that some program wide changes were needed. Kids will be kids and do stupid things. But we all must admit that the quality of our program has declined. The quality of our players have declined. I am in no way talking about the talent level. I am talking about the character level. I hope that BK sees this and will address this. I want those players that will stay and fight, not accept money on the sideline, or have have players come back and try to give money to our players like this. I do understand the landscape is changing and it is hard to keep these kids in line, develop high character standards, and still be in the top 1-2 in the SEC. But I hope that BK can deliver this to the LSU family. I know we have some great kids on this team. But honestly our entire team needs to be at a certain standard.

Correct in every respect.

We definitely need more of these threads!

It's never good to lose a guy that recruits like Corey Raymond but there are good coaches to be hired and Brian Kelly knows how to hire staff.
This idea that we could keep all of the good staff and excise the bad ones from the past regime wasn't realistic.
Looking at Raymond's recent recruits, it's alarming out many of them are either opt-outs or transferred. Maybe a different voice will be a good thing.
