Just a reminder: Florida was booed off the field in the 4th quarter last weekend…

it’s only about $$$ to some

And that's fine. No one on this board has ever been a walking winning lottery ticket. I won't judge these kids for chasing bags.

Don’t know why we still get so revved up over kids not picking us. Let him do him. I’d rather spend money on a portal player

Especially knowing in two years he might be the portal player to spend on. Just a sign of the times. These kids want to maximize that first payday. Any day the rules could change and rule changes in this landscape can be costly to those most impacted by them.

Can't blame a kid for taking an offer that's significantly better.
If the two offers were 10% different, then that's probably a big mistake. But, I that's for him to decide. He probably thinks a little bit higher of Sumrall because he is from NO and listed to the relative praise over the years.
He likely doesn't realize what most people are saying about Sumrall and that Mickey Mouse offense they have at this point.

These kids don't really care about wins and losses as much as you think. They are going to the highest bidder.
My post from September 28.

It's a job. You would not bemoan your friend if he took a job offer for more money. So why is a HS football player any different?
