Wouldn't be surprised if he breaks out to be a starter.

There is absolutely zero chance that a walk on will start at QB for LSU next year. He will probably be the sixth option.

and this is why the rant sucks arse.

Well, to be fair it is hard to contribute less than 51 yds as a QB, that includes a pick 6. So the statement alone is correct.

However, the agenda/meaning behind it is incorrect which is to infer that Jennings and whoever the frick this guy is are equals or even close to equals in QB talent.

I mean, yall act like the guy was worse than Jefferson.

Statistically....he wasn't.

This should say a lot about Hatch:

Jefferson was easier to watch at QB than Hatch.

Saying he couldn't have performed worse in the bowl game is probably close to a correct statement. Hard to do worse than 51 yds and a pick 6.

However, like I said before, Jennings/Rettig/Harris and maaaaaybe Rivers. One of those 4 will be the man next year.

Man, I don't know. I don't think I've ever felt more uncomfortable watching any player play QB than I did watching Jefferson.

Hatch threw over 50% and was about equal as a runner. That's not to say he was any good either, but you people act like he was soooooo much worse than jefferson.

All you do is post about Jefferson. There's not a worse poster on this board, and that's saying something

Couldn't have had anything to do with the gameplan, right?

you act like I'm the only one who's a little gunshy of a mobile QB in Les' offense now.

I've seent it and I didn't like it. That being said, Jennings has more tools to work with than both Lee and Jefferson had, so there's still a lot of hope. Besides, Rettig/Harris/Rivers may win the job too.

I'm pretty sure the gameplan didn't include a pseudo pick 6 and taking sacks after standing in the pocket for a while. Jennings was thoroughly confused by the D. He can get better, but if yall saw that performance and still think there shouldn't be a QB competition, then you're just blind.

Well, I mean, that was only the worst loss and biggest game in program history. I'm just saying you're unfairly criticizing Hatch. Hatch wasn't good by any means, but to act like he was a pinto compared to Jefferson's Ferrari is just plain wrong. See the stats.

I have no clue why you are continually allowed to ruin thread after thread.

I think you take the tiger "rant" (rant being a key word here) too seriously. You really get disproportionately bent out of shape at any opinion that is any less than "LSU HAS BEST PLAYERS EVARRR!"

I don't know anything about Bergeron. But at 6'3 195 is he an athlete? Could he play WR? If not I really don't understand this move on his part, yeah I understand the whole it looks good on his resume thing. Other than that why come to LSU, it just does not make sense. Why not go to a school where you know you could have a legit shot at playing QB, unless the coaches know something about him that we don't. Maybe he is just a Tiger fan and wants to be part of the team

Why the hell not? If you had the opportunity to be "Rudy v.2014" at LSU why wouldn't you?
