Juluke left something to be desired on the recruiting trails and Craig was never going to be here that long, so bye. I mean, Austin did a better job recruiting than these two this year. Good luck to both.

I'm going to take your word for Craig being the RC.
Um, O announced this at his first press conference after Les got canned. This wasn't a secret or anything.

Got to find someone with inroads there.
We really just need a competent recruiter there. LSU is the in-road.

We do need to find a way for Austin Thomas to be able to stay out on the recruiting trails. He's the true RC anyway at this point and he ended as the best recruiter on the staff this year.

Should've reassigned BDP!!!

Certainly appears this way. I don't think they put in the effort that Coach O expects.
Well we did take an in-state recruiting beating

Sorry you are misinformed here. He was the primary recruiter for Kirklin, Carter, Lowell (the reason Lowell came back), Clyde and Racey. Oh and a lil icing on the cake for u, the reason why Akers is not here is bc EO wouldn't give Akers a solid answer on if Jab would be back this year.

Kevin Faulk as RB Coach
Reggie Wayne as WR coach and New Orleans recruiter

Would Emanuel Powell leave LW?
By all public accounts, he seems like a good dude.

I get that. But I had been under the impression that while Craig held the title, Thomas did the job, and was brought back specifically for that purpose.

Craig wasn't a good receiver coach so this does not surprise me.

Wonder how the kids who said Craig was a big reason they committed to LSU feel now since that same coach was fired the day after they sent their LOI's in.

He did. He reassigned him to Ole Miss' coaching staff to wreak havoc from within.

I know you're friends with Juluke, but he's not giving you the whole story..

This certainly sends a not-too-subtle message about focusing on LA recruiting in both North and South Louisiana.

And O was the RC before Miles was fired. So wouldnt Craig have inherited his "mess". As that other poster said

Michael Smith would be great IMO. Also, Craig may have missed a few but he definitely was key in bringing in the 2 Alabama guys Farrell and Thomas. I felt like we were getting something going on the Mobile area. Kind of disappointed to hear this.
