He’s the perfect example of what you want in a college football player.

He has a 3.4 GPA and was a walk on, which means he had to work his arse off to just get to dress out initially.

His blocking has been impressive. He made a great pass protection block on the great pass to Nabors along the sideline. He ran downfield twice on two of Daniels long runs, including the OT TD run. He knocked the db on his arse.

He also had several tough runs. One was reminiscent of Clyde refusing to go down against Bama.

Yeah, if you want a picture to put next to student athlete in the dictionary, you can’t do better than this kid. As much as things have changed in college athletics, he’s proof that there is still room for them at the upper levels of the P5.

Yep. His short yardage TDs vs Bama and State were tough as nails. He also did a great job picking up that 3rd and long vs Bama and closing out the game with a couple of first down runs vs UF. He’s the guy you call when you need tough yards.

He’s truly a remarkable story and I’m rooting for him every time he gets an opportunity.

He’s earned his chance the old fashioned way and does it with integrity. He’s the definition of student athlete and football player

The run on 3rd and 7 before we ended up scoring to go up 24-21 was unreal. He should’ve gotten 3-4 yards and instead got 10. Totally different situation to say the least if we were down 4 and then facing a 4th down.

Hard not to root like hell for both he and Perk
