I guess we been recruiting 4 star offensive lineman for nothing. If josh is the best we have then somebody should be fired. I'm willing to bet my life vadal doesn't get abused like josh did. I seen him get beat on running play's that caused tackles for loss 2.

Hurst would go to LT and Vadal to RT but that's a different situation. Right now the discussion is, is Collins an option to play LT ahead of a healthy josh d. And the answer is no

Stick to the scenario

...I truly think it is a fear of getting re-injured. Hey, I get it, but you have to hit SOMEBODY! If you blow your assignment, hit SOMEBODY!

No its definitely an option. Unless there is something preventing him from physically being able to play the position its a fricking option

No, right now is the discussion about exploring all options. One of which is moving Collins, one of which is shuffling Hurst and inserting Alexander. Also, putting Alexander at LT is an option.

Those are all options, as well as many more I haven't listed. Among some of the options not available: Chris Faulk, Evan Washington.

it's all good, as long as it is a one-time issue. Correct it and move on.

does Les not have the option to play them there or is he simply unwilling to? Are you really not grasping this?

I am interested in your thoughts on what should be done. I've said I think a change should be made, regardless of if it's moving Hurst or Collins. But that doing it now provides a good ramp up before a big test with Florida, and a huge test with USCe. What say you?

Obviously he's unwilling to, how many times does he have to reiterate that?

I've always looked at Collins as a star guard, but reflecting back on his athleticism I retract that.

I would like to see La'el be given some reps this week to allow for the opportunity. BUT, Les' plan is Hurst after JD.....is what it is.

Les is afraid of a youngster blowing an assignment and getting Mett killed.......but, if you know the assignment and get blown the frick up and then get Mett killed, what's does it matter?
Hell, the physically capable youngin' will likely not blow but a couple of assignments where the veteran consistently fails play after play.

I sound harsh, but I watched the play of JD and the guy just doesn't have "it".

Wtf are you talking about? We're specifically discussing Collins as an option, or not, at LT.

Ok. It's good to know I'm not taking crazy pills, because I agree with this.

If you ask me if voting for Obama is an option in November, I might say no. But when I walk into the voting booth, Obama will be an option...that I definitely will not take. Still, the President IS a voting option.

As previously stated, until someone can find the original .jpg's of the pics that JJ obviously e-mailed or texted to Josh D of Miles after the season last year, we're screwed.

No, we were discussing all options, you just decided to focus on making absurd statements eliminating Collins as an option.

this.....this.......this.

I get Josh D is experienced and gives you some form of stability. But physically the guy just can't handle the position. The staff needs to address this before it gets our QB hurt.

They were hoping to cover a massive gash with a bandaid and hope to get by. It's not working.

Lyle Hitt passed the pics on to JJ who then turned them over to Josh D.

Yep. As I said earlier, it was the best option the week of the injury. But it's not long term.
