The AD couldn't have been too happy with Jordy dropping that Pelini was hired without a single interview. That's a pretty big deal.

So O and SW do a crap job in hiring Pelini, they dont do any background, they dont interview...it is a miserable failure and the guy on the news that actually does HIS job that reports it gets the firing.

It’s insane. He has the best connections within the athletic department. For football his source is the right hand of the coach and in basketball any info he has is straight from Will Wade. He and T-Bob worked well together as well. T-Bob needs someone that will keep him on topic. When he is alone he will wander off.

This sucks. I listened to off the bench on my commute every morning and catch some of it on demand too. I really like T-Bob and Jordy as a team, but the show isn’t good with just T-Bob.

I beg to differ, lots of history of Sports reporters that LSU Athletics did not like getting run out of Baton Rouge. Back in the late 70's and early 80's, a Channel 2 reporter Andy Leopolz If I remember correctly was definitely cut loose criticizing the LSU AD back then, Brodhead it was, John Adams a reporter for the Advocate, the same thing or similar, not as drastic as the Leopolz situation.

I don't really know anything about radio sales, but are these things normally figured out on a Thursday in the middle of the month? Doesn't seem like that would be the case.

Jordy is arguably their best on air talent. Pretty awful decision by 1045 outside looking in.
