Sports radio in Louisiana is absolute crap, especially when LA is such a big sports state.
I never understood the whole "our sports hosts also sell ad time" thing. Is sports radio here in that horrible of shape that they can't afford local on-air talent, and decent ad sales guys? That they have to find someone who can do both?
I'm pretty sure everyone's favorite WWL tweeter, the guy who we found out was gay, was in ad sales at WWL as well.

To hell with 104.5. Jordy was the best they had and it’s not even close. He is LSU through and through but calls shite like it is which is refreshing for listeners. If someone in the AD pressured them to fire him for the Pelini comments, that’ll tell us all we need to know about what kind of people are running the program. The fact that Pelini was hired without being interviewed in the first place tells you all you need to know.

Because it’s a huge local story. About a guy that has rose up the ranks at 104.5 and many (including myself) thought he has turned himself into the best talent that 104.5 has. A guy that has gone to bat against the “big boys” to defend LSU, and has called LSU out on their bs when needed.

Yeah but maybe hold on to that shite til like after O was fired or something. The timing of this was poor with us needing a new DC and re-recruiting players to come back next year.
I get that it’s his job to break stories but I’m just fining it hard to come up with one positive thing from this, for the program and Jordy. Only bad propaganda and unrest amongst fans.
There’s a legit search and interview process this time. They effed up with Pelini and didn’t need this to realize that.
