pure speculation on my part. but Jordy probably has enough of "his" sponsors and wanted a bigger cut of it, Guaranty said no, and he's taking them to his own podcast.

Thats kind of what I am thinking. They make mention all the time about how basically T-Bob does none of the sales for the show, its 100% Jordy.

He definitely got canned. If he were moving on you tell people the date of your last show and always say your goodbyes on air even if you can’t say where you’re heading. Now I’m sure he has a severance package as most (I’m positive he and Charlie plus Scone have one) big on air and PD’s do so they also told him if you want your $$ you better behave. These are ordinarily 3 months so he has time to find something and still get paid. Also since he was fired his non compete gets tossed out the window too. So something went down. I remember when the Saints called and told Entercom to fire Kenny Wilkerson and he was pulled from the sideline reporter gig for shite he did. When it came down to it they kept him just gave him something else but he couldn’t set foot on Airline drive anymore. So the big mystery here is wtf did he do to piss the frick off of someone. Interesting

I'm going to assume the producer that basically does the 3rd hour with t bob gets bumped up to on air talent. Forgetting his name right now but he's done good flying solo filling in for scona
I don't hate t bob as much as some here, but he's so ADD he needs a strong co host to reel him back in.

I just think the over-analysis of this is stupid.
There is a 99% chance he was let go on such short notice because he did or said something that he was specifically told not to do or say.
Our sportstalk radio situation in BR is well above average, whether you choose to believe it or not. I have been to other towns and what we have here is well above average.
The only thing that would make it better would be if the station with all the good hosts didn't also happen to be the flagship station of LSU.
This market needs a station with sports talk that isn't tied to the university, but there just isn't enough talent to go around, or a station that has enough capital to compete with 104.5. And no, I don't mean this as a signal for Buddy Songy and Tommy Krysan to join forces and start a new station...

I’m just saying Jordy didn’t work for LSU. You’d never hear one negative word about them if that were the case. There is a partnership with LSU athletics, sure. But they’re not Jordy’s (or anyone else’s at 104.5) boss.

I am very disappointed that TD hasn't already figured out the scoop yet. Someone at Guaranty needs to create an alter and post what happened on here. Jordy and T-Bob were so good, I listen every morning. Its going to piss me off if they ruined my morning commutes because of something petty.
