Maybe he just went to the same law school Lester did.

So what exactly is Alleva's job here? just to be a puppet for the BOS and prez? To do the dirty work and take the heat off of them? He looks more like Roger Goodell every day.
He needs to do his job or make them fire him for doing it.

This is my opinion and not necessarily fact.
Will Wade has presented his strong desire to improve facilities if LSU wants him as a coach. Much like Saban did when he was first hired....for example, the football operations center.
But this is basketball and not football. LSU does not want to spend money on basketball. And now that LSU has had such a successful season the BOS sees the handwriting on the wall. Will Wade is/will be very popular with the fans and will have leverage for LSU to spend the money on facilities he wants.
So the BOS would just as soon get another coach that is not so demanding on improvement of facilities.

Moscon’s angry tirade was better, but this was good.
Moscona is so confusing...when it came to Ed O during the off season last year he was anti-LSU at the time and defended his stance by saying he is a professional sports show host and he leaves his emotion at the door and puts on his objective glasses...flash forward to this and he is about as emotional as anybody I've come across.

Welp, after hearing this, I have no confidence that Smart will play.

The end game is some jackasses are gonna try and stick us with an interim again. If Benford has the smallest amount of success expect the war drums to start for him getting the job.

He said Joe alleva is not the blame for this and that it is the people over his head.
Poor Alleva, it's never his fault.
-The Governor wouldn't let him fire Miles and hire Fisher.
-Tom Hermann went back on his word to sign with LSU so Alleva had to hire O.
-Alleva didn't want Wade suspended but the BOS and F King did it anyway.
This guy is a master of getting the heat off of himself by sending these talking points out to his buddies in the media. It's either that, or he is the most impotent AD in the country. Either way, Alleva must go.

This has P Ray’s fingerprints all over it. Think back to the Pokie Chapman fiasco. Very similar MO—-AD initially will handle, the BOS gets P Ray involved. He treats it like a fricking interrogation of a criminal (former US Atty) , next thing you know she is out and the down slide to mediocrity in WBB begins.

No, you're repeating the same nonsense that tries to paint our inept administration in the best possible light.

Why does the BOS have any say in this anyhow? Especially 1 day after news breaks. They need to let F King and Alleva do their job! Otherwise we shouldn’t have a president or AF

He's pissed of that our administration acted on emotion. Nothing Moscona said was wrong.

Lol I want Will Wade coaching LSU again ASAP
I understand the use of the trial as a scapegoat for the Wade camp. I understand the want for prepared questions.
However, These aren’t moves that someone would make if this all had an easy & positive (for all involved, including fans) explanation.
And I don’t think LSU cares at all about the trial. Why would they ask him about the trial? This is a matter directly related to the university, as I’m sure all the questions would be.

I hope Wade can help drain the swamp and make LSU into a future blueblood. He's clearly a good enough coach and sees the potential in LSU.
Why can't we become a powerhouse in basketball? If LSU backs Wade, the donations will ROLL IN.

Imagine as a business owner if an employee is caught on tape, potentially hurting your company, and when you ask him to meet, he says only if he has a list of questions ahead of time and his lawyers present.
Is the tape somehow related to a pending federal trial for which the employee is subpoenaed? Does potential exist for self incrimination or tampering/obstruction charges? Does the organization have a history of leaks and poor administration?
Those things kind of matter.
