Well, speculating here, but I think Allen "swam" out of it because it was impossible to stay engaged as low as Hawkins came in. Hawkins didn't engage initially coming in so low, so Allen didn't have a choice but to come out of it.
People typically get their arse chewed for disengaging so Allen wanted the whole world to know that it wasn't his fault. He didn't want the coaches and players to think it was him disengaging so he decided to smart off out loud. That definitely wasn't the best way to go about it and I'm surprised Hawkins didn't react when he said that.
I'm glad Miles did. The only person on that field that should talk to another player like that is Miles.
Insightful video though. I enjoyed that exchange.

I didn't really understand why miles got pissed but I guess this makes sense. At first I though Allen said it in a helpful way but maybe not.

Sabin does not recruit his coaches do the recruiting done the real recruiting by ESPN all the Alabama coaches have to do is just show up at the five and four star players houses, ESPN has alwayd did sabins recruiting ! COACH Miles is the best coach the is the best recruiter and he's a good game planner like said above!
