Is literally my dream since I was little. Pick six directly into the student section. Imagine the pure adrenaline running into that end zone with the crowd level at ear piercing volume.
It all started when I saw Cedric Donaldson pick six against Florida, but that was South end zone I believe. Still a magical moment.
Tiger Stadium’s magic can never be suppressed.

That interception felt like vintage LSU.

You are correct. I was a student and the section lost it. Loudest I heard that stadium up until that moment.

Ross reminds me of those DE’s we had from 2000-2012
Dude is big and can fly!

The Bandits package is in the game. There's the pressure and the pass is PICKED OFF! That's Donaldson! And he....will....score!

I was in West Upper. That stadium ricked the entire game. It was loud even in upper deck

I envisioned him blowing through the endzone/cheerleaders and doing a Lambeau Leap in that pocket of students!

such a well disguised defensive playcall. Vizzina thought he knew the coverage and knew when his guy was going to be open and probably made his mind up presnap where to throw the ball but whoops, both DE's peel out of their pass rush and drop into coverage and pick 6

He was absolutely MOVING, didn’t know he had that gear

Definitely one of the loudest moments I’ve been a part of at a LSU game. Thinking back to it, I feel like we don’t have that many pick sixes in our history? Especially at a home game.

Marcus Spears 2003 BCS Championship game for the win
Not in Tiger Stadium but still get chills.
And thanks for now having to rewatch the entire '97 LSU/Florida game.

Spears/Vaughn fumble recovery into north end zone vs Bama ‘04. Happened right in front of us.

Same defensive blitz scheme. Defensive ends were built a little different back then

UF fumbled the ensuing kickoff. Place went nuts.

For a man that size, he looked super athletic running that ball!

You got me on that too. ChatGPT says 41 at home since 1980:
A few notable Tiger Stadium ones:
* 1991 Arkansas State — THREE in the same game: Carlton Buckels, Corey Raymond/Anthony Marshall, and David Walkup. LSU’s record book still lists that as the school record for pick-sixes in one game.
* 1997 Florida — Cedric Donaldson, 31 yards, in the famous upset of No. 1 Florida.
* 2012 Idaho — two in the same game, Ronald Martin and Lavar Edwards; Craig Loston added another against Mississippi State later that year.
* 2020 — three at home: Jabril Cox vs. Mississippi State, Eli Ricks vs. South Carolina, and Jay Ward vs. Ole Miss. LSU actually had four that season, but Ricks’ other one was at Florida, so it doesn’t count here.
* 2022 Southern — Micah Baskerville, 29 yards.
* 2025 Florida — Dashawn Spears, 58 yards. LSU’s official recap specifically describes the return and says “Tiger Stadium came alive.”
* 2026 Clemson — Jordan Ross, 30 yards, the most recent one. LSU’s recap says it was the Tigers’ first pick-six since Spears against Florida in 2025.

Followed it up with a big sack the next drive. Hes a beast.

He had another pick 6 running directly to the student section against Miss State in '04. I remember that was an early JP Sports kickoff and we were baking in the sun.
Demetrius Hookfin had one against South Carolina in '02 with the Gamecocks backed up in the north endzone. The student section went apeshit for that one.
