IMO they all need to come back but making any money, playing a game, is hard to pass up. I dont see any way Mickey could move to the first round.

Very true, but hopefully they will see the long game. Players can get stuck in purgatory coming out too early being stuck as 14-15th man undressed.

They more money off the 2nd contract, so it would behoove them to be ready to plug into a lineup immediately instead of project -limbo . D-league players only make $25-$30k/yr as well if they don't adjust to pros fast enough

Yall are talking about him sucking or NBA. I am saying something is wrong with the guy. He's not the same player as earlier this season. And I was at the game. I watched him. He never cheered for his teammates once after he fouled out. No emotion.

You guys worried about making the tournament but unless we figure out what happened to this dude in the last month, it won't matter.
He has been hurt. Disappointed that Jones played him at all today.

Mickey hasn't done shite since the Kentucky game. If he goes to the NBA or overseas or whatever, I won't miss him.

Out of all the players in college basketball, you think Mickey is a top 30 player?

That really doesn't matter these days. What matters is if, and where he can get drafted.

If I were in his shoes (or Martin's), I would love to win a national championship, and I think this team has a legitimate shot at making Final Four next year. Having one or both of them makes it that much more possible.

So much fail.

Mickey's SEC stats.

5th in ppg
3rd in fg %
1st in reb
1st in blocked shots

Seems pretty well rounded to me.

maybe the agents got to him!

And told him he wasn't good enough to be drafted... So he may be playing like ...well crap I have to come back here for another year.....

IF the agents got to him ,, he would be playing lights out to impress the scouts.....

He played his arse off all season. He probably is injured because he is not as productive.
I hope that he comes back, even if he doesn't score. With the guys we have coming in it will open up the inside and he should be more productive next year.

Mickey has had a rough stretch the last few games, but damn there are stupid ducking posters here. He's an elite college talent regardless of his draft stock.
