So he needs to play on a 50 yard field to produce instead of a 100 yard field. Interesting....

Guess that's why i better on a 8 foot basketball goal as opposed to a 10 footer.

So 4 fumbles, 3 lost, and 2 INT's. Sounds about right. I'm sure he was pleased with his performance.

Jordan Jefferson's Game One Stats for the Pittsburgh Power19/34, 196 yards, 5TD's... Some highlights from the game recap... quote:The Blaze defense forced its first turnover of the game on the ensuing possession, as DE Caesar Rayford sacked Jefferson at the opponent’s goal line. WR Chase Deadder made quick work of the turnover, converting the fumble into points off a one-yard touchdown run to give Utah a 27-14 lead. quote:On the first play of the ensuing Pittsburgh drive, Jefferson fumbled the exchange from his center and JLB Antwan Marsh scooped up the loose ball before rumbling into the end zone from three yards out for a 34-14 advantage in the second quarter. quote:Utah’s defense took control of the game in the second half, beginning with an interception by DB David Hyland on the opening drive of the third quarter. During Pittsburgh’s next drive, JLB Antwan Marsh batted a pass by Jefferson and DB Maurice Leggett picked it off to set up a one-yard touchdown run by Stallings. quote:Defensive end Mike Alston accounted for Utah’s third consecutive turnover, as he sacked Jefferson deep in Pittsburgh territory and jarred the ball free. The Power recovered the loose ball in the end zone, resulting in a safety for the Blaze. On the ensuing possession, Urrutia made a diving touchdown catch over the boards to increase the Blaze lead, 57-27.

Most disliked former player in LSU history, and JJ can thank the brilliant & beloved Les Miles for a lot of that dislike.

Yeah, he had a ways to go to surpass Josh Booty for that title, but he was just douchy enough to carry it off.

I'm not a JJ apologist because I thought he was a pretty bad QB in a very shitty offensive system.

David Woodley & Billy Cannon did worse shite than JJ ever did.

Marcus Randall was another mobile QB at LSU that had mixed success with some nice highlights mixed in.

Randall, in contrast, always seemed to carry himself well and give it his best effort. He was never viewed with the disdain people show for JJ.

If nothing else, hopefully JJ is learning to do a better job of dealing with adversity.
