I don't think JJ is taking anyone's heat. he may have been involved along wiht several other players but he unfortunately is hte most recognizable name/face. The fact is the evidence is really shaky to pin the whole thing on him and Johns.

As posted elsewhere, I think BRPD surprised the JJs' counsel with dragging this out with the DNA stuff after they didn't give up a kicker, or one didn't come forward.

If this is the case, then charges will eventually be dropped, and JJ will rejoin the team after having served a 4-5 game suspension.
I cant say that i disagree with that outcome. The timing is turrible, but hey. Think about what he told his dad... "i leave when i see something about to happen. I have too much to lose". Well, If he would have left after Wing got smacked, he'd be starting. He had to know shite was going to get ugly after that.

I think Mettenberger is the best pure QB on the team right now. That being said, you guys give way too much credit/place way too much blame on the QBs.
Our biggest problem between 2008-2010 is now Maryland's biggest problem.
