Jones is never going to start meaningful games at 3rd

You’ll see it this weekend. Likely on Sunday.

You think Jones will likely start at 3B on Sunday?

Yes. I don’t think you’ll see it against Doyle where runs are at a premium, but Saturday and Sunday are both options. Sunday struggles for LSU would have me seeing that as the most likely day to go for it.

Interesting. I disagree, but I guess we’ll find out.

Sure is working out great, huh! Just like that great pitching staff we have that was supposed to be one of the deepest in the SEC!

Which SEC teams have better staffs than LSU?

There is a 0% chance you see jones at third this weekend. Hell you might not even see him at 3rd in the next inning. He’s fricking awful at it

I believe Reaves is a better hitter than Braswell. Nothing about that opinion has changed.

Lol oh ok flip flopper whatever you say.

Braswell is playing Reaves is not. Neither one is better than the other hitting the ball. Both suck. But you say Reaves is better. Ok we go with that

I do. He’s not confident over there, but we’re in April. It’s all about raising your ceiling for June. Reps will make a difference. Three innings isn’t a sample size that matters.

I'm absolutely shocked that JJ knows more about his roster than Tammany Tom.

Well… every single metric and statistic shows that Brown is better in RF than Pearson. Stronger arm, more speed, better bat, etc etc

And… anyone, and everyone can obviously see that Jones doesn’t belong at 3rd. Not in a game that matters anyway.

Sure, by the time that Sunday game rolls around it will be the end of April. I guess we are just going to have a different opinion. I don’t think we are going to be giving Jones starts at 3B down the home stretch of SEC play so he can get some practice reps in.

Like I said he fricking sucks at 3rd and will never play 3rd again. He’s simply not athletic enough to field a ball on the move. 0-3 on chances today
