Yet somehow you don’t blame Bobby J who caused that mess

Just when I thought I was warming up to Ed Orgeron, he pulls this shite and politicizes his position as the head coach of my favorite college football team.
frick him and the horse he rode in on.
It was wrong and completely inappropriate when Jindal pulled the same shite with Les Miles and it's wrong too with JBE and Orgeron.
Oh and it's not surprising JBE has no problems hawking Orgeron out there like a prop for the lemmings. The man doesn't give a shite about LSU and never will. If that was false, he would've already put his finer on the button and fired FKA and Alleva for incompetence.

Yeah really. Let’s start with slashing education and services to bow down to Grover Norquist.

You’re a loser if you care that much about this

Edwards is the most pro-LSU guvner since the great Huey P.
This is bullshite because F King and Alleva are still drawing paychecks from LSU.

great Huey P.
The day he got shot was a great day for Louisiana. He was an authoritarian crook that institutionalized a lot of corruption and graft that keeps this state a good 20-30 years behind the rest of the country.
His statue in front of the capitol should be torn down and shipped off to a refinery or melted down to build some prisons or other public facilities.

Kennedy is such a corn pone douchebag.
It’s funny he’s triggered by this after he decided not to challenge JBE. He sounds scared.

Without getting into the politics at all, the fact that the LSU administration gave a goddamn clown who was still ripping his shirt off and threatening to fight college kids well into his 40s and named his LLC The Rosy Finch Boyz just a couple of years ago in his mid 50s the power to supposedly influence statewide political campaigns and to be “the public face of the Louisiana State University system” is the funniest part of this whole thing.
What an absolute embarrassment

Has someone checked in with CptBengal?
I'm legitimately worried about his well being with this news.

Just to be clear here, the decision to run for office, challenge an incumbent or not isn't solely based on the likelihood of losing and winning.
It's also based in what their current situation is, whether it makes sense to run, whether they can afford it, and if it provides more upward mobility.
Going from United States Senator to Louisiana Governor would've been a lateral move at best and slight to substantial downgrade at worst.
6 years being wined and dined by lobbyists in DC with extremely likely reelection in 2022 or Governor for 4 years of a poor state that's flaming dumpster fire? No shite he didn't run.
And I'm saying that as a guy who was pissed off that he cleared the field for him to run for Governor only for him to drop out less than a year before the election.

The governor had the head coach of the LSU football team (arguably the two most recognizable faces in the state) at an event?
He just wasn't "at an event" dipshit

It matters bc O got and will keep the job simply by politicking. Not by his actual resume or performance.
Total BS. No one is going to stand for the program descending into crap. In two full years as head coach he is 19-7, a .730 winning percentage with the potential for a huge year in 2019.
I don't care about his politics. I care about him winning games. That's the barometer. Miles' connections gave him a reprieve when he should have been canned in 2015, but it caught up with him. You can't outrun your performance.

O is the next best thing though, a lifelong LSU fan.
Except the years he spent at Miami, northwestern, USC, Tennessee, Ole miss, Syracuse, etc
He's from LA and all, but this needs to stop. He'd be just as happy as the HC at any of those other programs.
All of which were his "dream job" at one time or another.
