It’s funny he’s triggered by this after he decided not to challenge JBE. He sounds scared.
Why would he be scared? He’s a fricking US Senator moron.

Then maybe JBE should change his party affiliation. Become a Republican. Change his policies. Louisiana is at the bottom of almost every economic category in the country because of democrat policies. Last time I checked I don't see businesses busting down the door to set up shop in Louisiana. Seems to me the only industry keeping the lights turned on in Louisiana (and in NOLA) is O&G and the dumbass democrat mayor and aldermen in NOLA want to sue the O&G Companies.
If Ed Oregeron wants to identify himself with a party that is working to kill jobs in Louisiana that's his business. But he damned better deliver on that football field. I figure after the democrats (including JBE) finish killing off Louisiana's economic future, LSU Sports may very well be one of the few viable economic entities left.
Last worker to leave Louisiana, turn off the lights.

Really? They didnt do a very good job of it at USC.

Coach O should keep his arse out of the politics and leave that up to the crooks of Louisiana!
Posted on 4/5/19 at 9:57 pm to 1999
John Kennedy maybe should worry about not sounding like sling blade when he is interviewed
Posted on 4/5/19 at 9:59 pm to 1999
Why? He can support who ever he likes. Last time I checked he was a Grown A__ man!

No surprise, O will play politics for self preservation. It’s the same way he got the HC job. He’s a crook and a fraud and unfortunately we’ll all have to live through it soon

Not as a state employee, he can’t. At least not publicly.

Why don’t you do your fricking job instead of worrying about the football coach?

I do like to keep my politics and sports separate but I know that's impossible at LSU.
It was possible before they hired O. Now it’s the swamp rats running the show.
All the work emmert did to clean it up went for naught.

The governor had the head coach of the LSU football team (arguably the two most recognizable faces in the state) at an event? Color me shocked. This is a nothingburger. Kennedy is soft.
This.

2018 State Economic Rankings.......
(1 being the best) That goes to Washington State.
(Texas was 10th)
2018 Louisiana Economy Ranking = 51
2018 Louisiana Economic Activity Ranking = 49
2018 Louisiana Economic Health Ranking = 47
2018 Louisiana Economic Innovation Rank = 50
2018 Lowest GGP Growth = 51 Louisiana
Analysis: Bout what you would expect from a democrat governor in a state where the only viable industry is Oil & Gas. As the price of oil goes....so goes Louisiana's economy.

This was a mistake by O plain and simple. 75% of the paying fans are Republicans and won’t forget this when he loses two games in a row.

Do you realize that most normal people hate politics and politicians in general? They may be registered with one party because it's marginally less objectionable than the other one, but other than that they give zero fricks. They don't live and breathe politics like some on this board apparently do. Orgeron will stand or fall based on his record, not whether he showed up at a rally for the blue team instead of the red team.
ETA Les Miles is by most indications a conservative Republican. It didn't keep him from being run off.
