Yes, it’s a pretty big deal for younger people, and in this situation could be a subtle indicator he’s leaning towards us. The thought process being why follow/friend LSU players if you’re not coming.

If I were him I would go to LSU for one reason alone: Going against LSU D every week prepares him for NFL. That is why Ethling was drafted despite his limitations.
I think part of the reason Burrow paused was ESPN suggesting we become a playoff contender if he comes. I bet that was a "wait, what?" moment for him. I mean, I'm sure he's confident and WANTS to do well, but that has to be a hell of a lot of pressure he wasn't expecting.
