Who da f$ck is Joel Klatt, and why should anyone give a Fu$ck about his opinion? Honest question. Never heard of this Douche Bag before.
He's one of the top 2 or 3 color analysts in college football. And you look like tool trying to disguise when you say "frick".

He's a former college QB (3-year starter at Colorado) and current college football analyst for I think FS1

Regardless, we didn't put it away and lost Chaisson

Hind Sight is ALWAYS 20 20 and filled with IFS. The fact is
OUR COACHES OUT COACHED their Coaches, a HUGE positive for LSU and
OUR GUYS PLAYED

He’s not wrong. We had less than 300 yards of offense and completed less than 50% of passes.
Minus 2 big plays the game was really close.

people should realize yards are down with short fields

"Did you know that LSU was only 3 of 16 on third downs? 3 of 16!
That number would have been a lot different if LSU had continued to run their offense in the second half.

When your right your right. I agree. frick you!
Sorry, I don’t care what a shitty UC QB on FS1 has to say.

We did not move the ball well in the second half at all. Short fields don't change that. We absolutely have to be better on 3rd down going forward.
Regardless, his take is a really bad one for a supposed expert analyst.

So what happens when the opposing team's punter doesn't punt the ball 20 yards? They had multiple punts barely get to the 50 and we still settled for a lot of field goals

It's hard to gauge, because of field position, turnovers, and other things.
LSU started past their own 40 on three of their first five drives. Well that's because LSU forced 3 and outs and their punter sucked (22, 20, and 34 yard punts).
LSU's next FG was set up by great field position again (LSU 44), due to a good PR by Giles.
Another INT led to another FG, and then LSU shut it down, gaining 50 total yards the rest of the game.
Stats can say whatever you want. I'm skeptical about parts of the win, but being up 33-3 with 19 minutes left in the game says dominance.

Looked him up. Still don’t think his opinion is any better. Wikipedia page is funny because the pic has his coach grabbing his arse. I know.......Aggie board.

3/16 on third down is worrisome. Not sure how anyone could think otherwise?
Posted on 9/5/18 at 4:57 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
Because LSU just ran the ball into loaded boxes the whole 2nd half.

Up 33-3 before Miami threw up a couple of garbage TDs in the 4th? Yeah.. LSU sucked.
Who didn't expect this? Nearly every media expert was predicting a Miami win. LSU dominates Miami, and the narrative changes that Miami sucked or they would have played a better game.

They went really conservative in the 2nd half, everyone saw that. If anything LSU was more dominant than the final score suggest.

That's still worrisome that the staff was apparently OK with doing that and let Miami get close to striking distance.
