Just saw this posted, apparently Joel Klatt is at it again, taking shots at LSU:

quote:

Appearing on a Houston radio station on Wednesday, Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt took shots at this year's LSU football team for the second straight week, ahead of their SEC trip to Auburn.

"Auburn has proven so much more than LSU in this season," said Klatt. Both LSU and Auburn have top ten wins to their credit this season, with LSU defeating Miami, while Auburn defeated Washington.

"LSU didn't play great offensively against Miami, they obviously didn't play great or what we would have expected in Week 2," said Klatt. "(Joe Burrow) is green, a veteran green thumb, and this guy is going to have to go out there and take his lumps against a really, really good defense."

Stidham is going against a better defense. And Edward Orgeron— the greatest mind in collegiate athletics.

It’s the second week of the season no one has proven anything.

Well, it's a good thing Joel Klatt isn't taking the field on Saturday.

He's not really wrong. He actually sounds like a Vegas handicapper. Hopefully LSU can shut his arse up this weekend.

Gee....maybe we shouldn't even show up....if Klatt says Auburn is better, then that must be the truth....he's an idiot....

Vegas doesn’t throw a 10 point spread unless they feel the team is better. Auburn has played better to this point and is at home. Sure we can win, but we have to play better Have we have so far. I can’t knock anyone from having issues with LSU at this point in the season. The good thing about college football is we get to play the game and see who’s best.

We haven’t yet thrown for over 150 yards in a game. We are 7-27 on third down. Our oline looks suspect. If not for a Hail Mary and a bad snap we score 17 points against an FCS team. Washington is most likely really good. Miami most likely isn’t

He’s not wrong

Well, he's not necessarily wrong, but Joel Klatt is such a huge Big 12 shilling douchebag. I have to listen to him every week over here in the metroplex and it's the same thing over and over. He hates the SEC dominance and takes every chance he gets to bash any program he can.

Vegas doesn’t spend hours researching football games. Their lines are set by betting trends. The more people that bet LSU - the more the line will favor LSU and vice versa. Vegas isn’t in the football business. They are in the money business.

On the face of it he is not wrong.
They beat a higher ranked team and they dominated an overmatched team.

However the game is won on the field. There have been many times in my 55 + years of following the Tigers that they have pulled off a win when no one gave them a chance.

A victory or, at a minimum, showing the offense has a pulse will go long way to silence folks like Klatt.

He basically said last week Miami game was deceiving, that they weren’t as good as advertised. LSU was then underwhelming against SE. Auburn beat a team that may possibly win out. Auburn is favored.

We got some real pussies for fans. Not all these guys have an agenda against your school. If LSU wins, a lot of people will be wrong about this team.

Well said. Eaux has every opportunity to silence the critics. He's got total control over how he manages this season. Nowhere to run and nobody else to blame. Do it

They've proven so much more? Really? LSU smoked their 1st top 10 opponent and Auburn beat their first top 10 opponent. Whether either opponent was really good remains to be seen. Who was Washington's big win last year? Washington St.? I can see if he thinks Auburn had a better win, but he is pissy about LSU stomping Miami for some strange reason.
