I know he was brought up in here a few months ago and I saw on twitter today he's apparently a strong candidate anyone know how true that is. Obviously you can't trust everything you see on social media.
Not sure how credible these guys are?

That would be a great option for PGC and possible future OC. Grandson of Vince Lombardi. He's got a lot of experience for being only 48.

How much a frick you would that be to all the pussies that have been dragging their bleeding vaginas all over this site since Brady left?
Lombardi would be whatever is better than a homerun hire. He can coach.

I think that is the term he is searching for.

Lombardi joined the Saints as an offensive assistant in 2007, and became the quarterbacks coach before the Saints' Super Bowl winning season of 2009. During his time in New Orleans, starting quarterback Drew Brees set numerous passing records, including passing for more than 5,000 yards five times (four times with Lombardi as quarterbacks coach), and setting the record (now surpassed) for the most passing yards in a single season (5,476 in 2011).
He's been on the Saints staff as an offensive assistant and QB coach since 2007 with the exception of one season at Detroit in 2014.

Was mentioned on Radio today (Saints show I Believe??) would be great hire, got fired at Lions bc of Coaching change, Payton hired him right back , him and Brees tight. Hope it’s true

He would double as a QBs coach too so that would be a plus

He's a super guy, too. He and his family attended our church in Ann Arbor when he was OC for the Detroit Lions. My pastor can't say enough about the guy.
I floated this by my pastor and he made some comment that Lombardi might be available soon, suggesting it could be real.
