Yeah, he was throwing some darts.

This has been an issue with Brennan every time weve seen him. Seems like every pass comes out as a fastball.

Nerves maybe?

He gets more time and success under his belt and gets into the flow of the game...he'll settle down.

He had 12 attempts, not 9.
. I stand corrected. However, I wish Brennan would have been allowed to play with the first team offense and been allowed to throw the ball more. He cannot improve as a passer by handing off the football, especially in this pass happy offense.

What’s Myles’ background running this type of offense? I thought his decision making was significantly slower than Burrow. Maybe that was just because Burrow has been around it so much longer?

Very similar to what he ran in HS.

It has been said that the first 15 or so plays are scripted to begin the game. Assuming all players are starters involved to get in a rhythm and comfortable. It is obviously not the same throwing 2nd and 3rd stringers in without the same treatment. Would expect what we saw.

Yeah. At least one of those passes to Pettigrew should have been caught.

Snap was slow getting to Brennan last night affecting running plays and timing.

I thought this exact thing. Seemed like snaps to him were high floaters, so by the time he got the ball, he was a bit behind everyone else.

He's definitely a slinger. But, the cannon is only good if you can hit your target. Stand tall, poise, set your feet, play with confidence. He has the skills without question, just need to learn the "it" from Joe.

This probably is a good assessment, whether he's playing with 1s or 2s that shouldn't affect his accuracy. He did have a couple passes dropped if I remember correctly also

I think if our offense is able to improve on last nights performane we could blowout plenty of teams on our schedule like we did in 2011 and get Brennan the snaps he needs to improve.

Brennan will not improve with mop up duty.
He better! It should be EVERY backups goal to improve and game(even mop up duty) experience helps.

I think Myles would do better than some think if he had to step up, but yeah, Burrow is clearly the guy. He's a special player.

The more Brennan plays throughout the season, he will be just fine, a few bad balls, and few drops from receivers, and looked a lil nervous, that will all work itself out, I would've liked to see him with the 1's for at least 2 series tho, that may help him grow confidence..

Brady came to LSU from the Saints to prepare Burrow to replace Brees when he retires.
He is on pace.

The offense changed when Brennan was in. After his 1st they stopped stretching the field.

Myles will be alright.

I think the narrative that myles brennan didnt impress is ridiculous. He wen 7-12 with 2 blatant drops and one throw in the endzone that was on the money, and wouldve been a good play by the reciever. The 3rd down throw that he obviously missed is what is sticking out in everyones mind, but was 100% the right read to be made. So brennan was 58% but without the 2 blatant drops would have been 83%. Everyone needs to calm down. I would more worried about his decision on the zone read to keep it and try to bull over a db and a lb. Geaux tigers

Bo Nix grew up in second half. Myles played with Backups for a quarter and half. Until Myles plays with starters in game situations for entire game you can’t evaluate correctly. LSU did not even run Offense in 4th Quarter. They ran time of clock not to embarrass Georgia. Joe Burrow might be 2nd best QB in conference. Myles will follow in his footsteps and be great

The snap was definitely floating back and messed the timing of the play way off ! #69 needs significant improvement in getting the snap back lower and much quicker. Several times Brennan and the running back were almost together waiting for the snap to get there ! Hope the coaches catch this !
