I would say CEH was a mis match for a lot of Line backers as well. He won a lot of one v one battles and made catches that our current stable of backs are NOT doing.

I agree completely.

We really don’t throw to TDP and Emery very often, so it’s hard to say how capable they are of exploiting matchups. We also don’t throw many WR screens anymore and can’t execute them when we do. There are several things we were very successful with last year that have just been completely abandoned.

Carolina hired the Jockey, but the Horse went to Cincinnati.

You guys have no idea how good we have it with Ensminger. His play calling this year has been masterful, and he has kept our offense a threat even though we’re all second string at WR and QB.

Not sure if trolling

He just needs more time. That’s why I never understood the people thinking he was going to get a head coaching job after this season. He’s still great but Teddy isn’t special and they haven’t had their best weapon for almost the entire season.

Yeah they’re missing 1-2 weapons

You’re either completely disingenuous, or just a moron. All other injuries aside, CMC is not simply 1 weapon. He is their entire offense. He was the best running back in the NFL last year. He ran for 1,400 yards, caught 116 passes for 1,005 yards and scored 19 fricking TD’s

Last years team was truly catching lightning in a bottle. Hundreds of small parts came together with incredible results. Karma was on our side. We got every break and the ball bounced performance us.
You can’t give total credit to any one part.

Last year was a perfect marriage of all the right parts at the right time. You take away one of the pieces and we don’t win a championship.

Sounds like lightning in a bottle

Brady was a good Assistant Coordinator but he clearly wasn’t ready to sit in the big boy chair.

One this Hester said more than once was that Brady was a good playcaller but he E would make slight changes based on gut and experience. Like keeping the RB in to block when he felt the D was going to blitz. Brady just needs experience.

Well coach, IF they run him off, get on a plane with a contract in hand.

Last year Carolina was 20th in total yardage, to date this year Carolina is 19th.
A coach can’t succeed without talent. Talent flourishes the better the coaching.
If Brady remained at LSU it’s hard to say how much better we’d be because we lost so much talent.
It’s crazy to think Brady could accomplish close to what we did last season with the players we currently have.

Joe Burrow made Brady look way better than he really was and he cashed that in.

I would say the reverse could be said too. They were perfect for each other. Burrow under center running an archaic offense in 2018 was maddening. Thus the “40, 50, 60” statement when Joe saw Brady’s updated offense.

Right, so that’s a testament to Brady doing a good job. The only point was that CleanSlate dismissing him missing almost the entire year as them simply “being without 1 weapon” is asinine.

The Panthers don’t have an OL, have missed their best player for all but 3 games, do not have a #1 WR, and Teddy Bridgewater is a bottom 10 starting QB in football. Despite that, they’ve had a pretty average offense. Many coaches have stolen Brady’s concepts, and he’s getting a lot of HC buzz. Getting HC buzz at 31 years old means you’re bad I guess lmao

Bridgewater is completing 70% of his passes and has thrown for 3100 yards and 14 tds to only 8 picks. I'd say Brady isn't the issue in Carolina

only issue with this statement is "almost" - that is "absolutely" what is required - could not agree more with everything else that was said

Before this weekend Teddy was 3rd in comp % behind only Brees and Hill at 70.2%

They have Teddy and were missing their biggest offensive threat that actually opens up the passing game. CM has missed 9 of the last 12 games and the offense is built around his versatility.

Which is why you need the Jimmy's and Joe's to go with the X's and O's. Kind of like our current roster vs the 2019 one.

That's not to say SE has not made questionable calls, but he's not calling the same gameplan for true FR or even Brennan the same as he would for grad transfer Burrow and 3 veteran stud WRs.

And to expect similar results with 2 returning starters (Deculus and Ingram) with no spring would be unrealistic.

You do realize that up until 2 weeks ago, they had the most efficient WR Corp in the NFL right?

There are zero issues with Brady running an offense in the NFL currently. He has average to below average NFL players on the offensive side of the ball and they put up points
