We know. You pass it off as top 5 college QB. #6 draftable QB does not equal top 5 college QB. You'd have to to down into the 10 range to start getting to his name. This isn't bad. If LSU had a QB that you could argue was in the top 10-20 of all of college football every year, we would have a few more national titles.

The number 6 in 18 was Mason Rudolph....he is in a battle with Dobbs for the back up spot in Pittsburgh.

So a team, which has been plagued by QB issues, and has been incredibly talented everywhere else, will have a returning senior QB be a critical piece to the teams success?

Minimize it? Having a bad QB has been one of the biggest issues holding LSU back. He is important. I don't have an issue saying Burrow is the most important piece to this LSU team making the playoffs.

This is the frustrating part. He takes such extreme positions regarding Burrow that he forces people appear as though they are hating on the kid. Burrow is clearly the best QB we've had since Mett and is exactly what LSU needs. But, he's not half the QB Buckeye Jeaux makes him out to be.

Right. I've never said anything other than I thought Burrow was a great QB, and I absolutely love the way he competes. Those compliments get you labeled as a Burrow, Orgeron and LSU hater though, because they don't meet Buckeye Ree's lofty, unrealistic, expectations.

lofty, unrealistic, expectations? Like I said. In about a week you'll get a peek at Burrow in a functioning system. In about 2 weeks you should get a heavy dose of it.

Exactly. If LSU went 0-12 but Burrow threw for 3,500 yards, 40 TD and at a 70% rate, this arse clown would be tickled pick. Likewise is LSU goes 15-0 and Burrow plays poorly and gets benched for Myles who took them the rest of the way, he'd be livid. He's here for one reason and one reason only...and it isn't because he gives a frick about our program.
