O lost his job.
Brady lost a job.
Burrow damn near won a Super Bowl in his second year without either of them.

Case closed.

But he made them catch 10,000 balls from the Jugg machine. He's the best thing since sliced bread.

to some of the others point.
Coach E played an integral part in that offense too.
Brady needed Coach E, Coach E needed Brady, Burrow needed them both and both needed Burrow.
2019 was literally lightening in a bottle. We had a slew of receivers, a stud back and a Heisman QB. We were fortunate to have all that talent and a coaching combo that could make the calls.
We can't just give props to one, because they all made 2019 happen. Which I am eternally grateful.

Josh Allen is already a stud. Joe Brady will bring nothing to make him better.

Brady got way more credit than he should have. Esminger called the majority of the plays and Burrow ended up being one of the best college qb’s in recent years. I think Brady definitely added to the offense but he wasn’t calling all the plays and wasn’t the offensive guru that he’s been made out to be.

So what was the difference between the 2018 and 2019 offenses?

Both Burrow and E were crucial pieces, but there’s one variable that took us from good to great passing.

Are you trying to say that Joe Brady didn't install a completely different offense in 2019 that featured our athletes?

He didn't bring the athletes here. He utilized what LSU had. What every fan on this site said LSU had.

Was it just Joe Butrow in the I formation throwing bombs?

Thats the old offense

Or was it a wide open RPO scheme that got playmakers in space?

You mean the same offense that that every fan on this site said LSU needed. Fans had been saying LSU needed a modern offense for years.

So what exactly is genius about Joe Brady going to that offense. He was offered a job by LSU, which happened to be loaded with the talent that offense needs. Keep in mind, the same type of offense 3/4 of the players left behind in high school. LSU was the perfect place for that play book, doesn't matter who delivered it.

Remember, when Joe Burrow got to LSU, taking snaps from under center was almost foreign to him.

You’re an idiot. Brady has even been praised by his nfl ex head coach. Oh, did I mention you’re an idiot.

People who use this as "proof" that Joe Brady was a great offensive mind completely ignore the fact that Joe Burrow had transferred in after spring practices, didn't even know some of the players on the team, and was only starting because Miles had absolutely no quarterbacks in the cupboard.

Lets also remember that the offensive line was a turnstile, the offense was full of first time starters, and LSU receivers dropped something like 10% of the balls thrown their way in 2018.

Oh, and it was Ensminger's first year as a full time offensive coordinator in like 20 years.

Brady gets far too much credit for that year and Ensminger gets too little but it still took two to tango. Plenty of folks who were around that team on a daily basis have confirmed that.
