wait is this a freaking joke. Not that I care at all about Womens BB, but if you retain a coach with her resume you clearly are not trying to have an elite program. Her best players transferred away and she had a shitty arse season this year. Clearly he doesnt care about the womens team.

Honestly, all things considered and all angst aside, she should get next year.
The reactionaries stopped reading, but here is the logic.
Supposedly, she was told to get off her arse and go recruit...and she has a pretty good class coming in, probably her best in 4 years.
So if you tell your coach to go recruit, and she does, why pull the plug now? Next year could be a really good year with Mitchell and Aifuwa down low and some guards who can actually shoot.
That having been said, anything short of about a 5 seed in the NCAAs next year and I'm all for the ax.
