LSU does not beat ala. without Lee coming in for the injured JJefferson and throwing that big long 3rd down completion to knock the clock down and ala. out, absolutely fantastic.

to say that we don't beat Alabama without that throw isn't entirely correct. We would've punted and had to stop a final Bama drive.

But Lee pretty much secured the victory. Thinking back, that play really was amazing. Lee moved up in the pocket big time and made a good throw. I cannot describe the euphoria I felt as Randle ran around after the catch.

Bama had just gone 74 yds for a TD in 2 min and 10 sec. JJ once again had LSU in 3rd and 13. Lee came in with 2:49 remaining, on his own 20.

All Bama needed was 3 to tie, or a TD to win.

JJ goes 3 and out, like he did on the previous series, and Bama gets plenty of time to beat us.

You are assuming that JJ couldn't have made the throw.

He made similar throws in that game.

Outside of that throw, Lee looked like stomped shite that game.

It makes a shitload of assumptions. . .and states it as fact.

Here's one. . .

If Lee plays all the games all season, we finish 0-11.

I base this solely on Lee's performance in the Bama game.

Dude. . .your hero turned out to be a zero.

You are just going to have to deal with that.

We have Mett and Jefferson now. Hopefully Mett beats out Jefferson. Lee will be lucky to have clipboard duty.

Sorry man. Maybe you can start e-knighting for Chris Toliver to start over Randle?

It would make about as much sense, and would provide me as much entertainment.

I would say that you are probably the most biased poster on this board when qb talks come up.

I think jlee stole your girl, seems that way.

Mettenburger looks like the jolly green giant next to Lee I didn't know Lee was a short qb.

He's not. Mett is just really tall. Not a very stong post by you. Though it certainly is quite at home in this shite thread.

No need for the venom, I was just making an observation. He's 6'3 according to scout.com, my bad. He looks really short next to Mettenberger and Mett is only 2 inches taller than him.

If you guys have it on dvr or can find it on youtube, please do. When randle catches the ball he runs to the middle.....then from the back a bama player kinda touches him and thinks for a sec then the bama guy keeps running up field thinking maybe tolliver or sheppard has the ball lol....its pretty funny

My venom was aimed at this thread, not your post. My apologies for the confusion.

Yeah, I don't think Lee's 6'3". Probably 6'2" max.

How so?

It seems that if you say Lee is awesome, and JJ sucks. . .or if you say that Lee would have led us to an undefeated season ( per RobbBobb). . .well that is pure unbiased objective analysis.

My saying both our QB's are pretty awful, just that Lee is slightly more so. . .Now that is just biased.

Awesome.

Pretty safe assumption, considering he was on the sidelines.

Not from the sidelines.

Jefferson was hurt. Lee was available and made the throw that sealed the win. Without him, we have no way of knowing whether we win that game or not. The only thing we do know is that with him, we won the game and he made a huge play that was absolutely key to that win.

ETA: Personally, I appreciate guys who bust their arse to represent LSU and make plays to help us win. But maybe some of us are just different that way.

Ahhh. . .well, obviously.

I posited on the basis of those that say JJ could not have made that throw.
If you are not among them, then disregard.

I appreciate Lee's effort. I appreciate the throw he made against UF and the one against Bama.
