High school team I coached played his West St. John team in the quarterfinals. We were completely overmatched. Jackson and Quinn Johnson, two future NFL players, on a 2A Louisiana high school football team. They had plenty of talent elsewhere, too.

A few years ago I had a chance to speak to Eben Britton who played offensive tackle for the University of Arizona and later for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He told me that Jackson was by far the most intimidating DE that he faced while in college. Said he was unblockable.

I got to meet Tyson on his recruiting visit near concession. Dude had THE hottest sister by his side I have ever seen. Beyond smoking hot. I knew at that moment he was committing. Lol.

Favorite Tyson Jackson highlight is when he nearly ended that poor QB's life from Arizona. In today's game that would be an immediate penalty, ejection and possibly suspension.

Tyson was a good player who i liked a lot but drafting him that high was stupid. He never produced enough to warrant it. And he played a lot.
