Very questionable at his pulling and putting in the pitchers.
Oh well, great season, guys. Our luck ran out.
Can’t wait for the upcoming football season.

USM coach showed his knowledge of the game and LSU's team with the defensive positioning. They were ALWAYS in the right position.
LSU's OF seemed to always be out of position.

Can always second guess that stuff, but we will never know. What we do know is we don’t really have enough reliable arms. Hoping LSU addresses that.

Which is it? Did LSU run out of luck or we’re they out coached?

None of our pitchers could throw strikes, no sense leaving a guy in who can't hit the strike zone

We had no pitching retard. Quit watching baseball you stupid frick stick!

Nothing that happened in this game reflected that at all.

I disagree. He left Gervase in and we escaped a few times. Sometimes the changes work and sometimes they don’t. Your shutdown guy in Rezy can’t allow a run in that situation.

Every pitcher was shaky at best…there was no right answer it was just hoping one guy had semi decent stuff.
Today was supposed to a smash fest and our hitters didn’t quite hold up their end of the deal and give the pen a decent padding

When you go to your reliable arms out of the pen and they constantly walk themselves into trouble you weren’t outcoached.

Is this based on your experience playing/coaching college baseball?

We didn’t know have a single pitcher that lasted 4 innings apart from Fontenot.
USM had 3 pitchers that threw at least 7 innings. Coaching was not the issue

Finally something I can agree with on this thread.

So which of our pitchers would you have put in and then stuck with when they couldn’t hit their arse with both hands?

It’s a lot easier to position your defense if your staff can hit a spot.

Reyzelman was bad last night, was topping out at 93, and can only throw fastballs. You can’t leave him in at the end of the game there.

Had he yanked him “omg how could be give him the hook??? He was dealing !!!”
Posted on 6/6/22 at 7:43 pm to LSBoosie
Who were you going to put in?

Another horrible take by the OP
The fact that Army and Kennesaw held USM to less production offensively than we could should tell folks what the deficit on this team was but some just want to blame the first year coach
