Why? What has he done to warrant an ovation? He kicked a man in the face. You people are killing me with some of this bullshite.
To the deluded masses, the J-Swag is a worshipped L.S.U. football player and is immune to any and all criticism. You know, the "See, Hear and Speak No Evil" cheerleader crowd that will defend to the death any L.S.U. coach, player or administrator. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are either. Ouside of being convicted of murder, they'll make make excuses and defend one of their gods, so it's no wonder that many are defending the J-Swag.
Makes me
Nice job by Team Clean/Sweep in getting the Grand Jury to only indict on simple battery. Now go see the "Special Man" and he'll let him have it. (His roster spot back on the team) The "Special Man" will forgive all the transgressions of the senior starting quarterback and "Leadership Council" member, (

I'll cheer when he enters.
And I'll credit Les Miles and the grand jury when he is named BCS Championship game MVP.
And I'll laugh knowing that it pisses rantards off that Jefferson and Miles are on the cover of the newspaper holding up the crystal ball

You are one miserable SOB if your desires center around pissing off ranters.

My desires are for LSU to win.
It's just an added bonus that they'll be pissed off if a certain person does well.

I'm at the point now, I'm going to cheer just because it pisses you guys off.

the only way this happens is if Lee is hurt and doesnt play.
JJ's season started, and will end quietly. His redshirt will go unused, and he will go undrafted.

There were at least 15 posters that said they wanted him incarcerated without any evidence.
I'm not saying he was treated fairly, but I am challenging the integrity of your inflammatory and egregious claim.

So you won't gonna cheer for him at the beginning when he was our starting QB. Terrible fan you are

disagree. What he's been through he can only blame himself.... or maybe Bush!

Do you honestly think for one second that any LSU fan would be pissed off at that.
No really, stop and think about it.
Really, I challenge you, think about what you typed and how fricking dumb that sounds when you read it out loud.

If this would have been Eric Reid or Claiborne everyone would be acting so differently.

Some of this is a bit silly. I don't really think I have ever "cheered" for a player or pulled against one. I have cheered for a team. I can get behind anyone on the field playing as a member of a team.

There would a more than a few people here on the rant who would be pissed off by that. TheDoc promised fans would stop coming to games if JJ even took minutes from Lee so I guarantee a tard like that would be upset.

Ok let me explain something to you. If LSU wins the National Title this year, nobody, I repeat, NO frickING BODY is going to be "pissed off" that they won, even if Jefferson plays.
This is just an asinine thing to say and it shows that some of you go way out (to the tip) on a limb to dry to draw sides on here and argue with people. Talk about rantards...

Whatever they may have found with regards to another misdemeanor has zero bearing on the fact that the grand jury found there was not even enough evidence to give the prosecution an opportunity to even try and make the case for the felony, 2nd degree battery. Thus, he was indeed arrested, charged and suspended for something that -- according to the grand jury -- he apparently didn't do.
Jefferson on the other hand, had enough evidence against him that the Grand Jury decided he needed to stand trial

Don't ruin their fantasy! These victims by proxy have nothing else to hang on to.

I don't know about standing ovation..... Jury is still out on JJ so to speak. He never has been a fan favorite based on his erratic play at QB and lack of composure at cruch time.
If I were going to the game I would probably give him a round of applause b/c he is back on the team and I'm genuinely happy for him. Beats sitting in jail.....
However, he has made his own bed (that means he did "something" that night at Shady's for all of you wearing the rose-colored glasses) and he will be regulated to backup duty and garbage time as long as Lee continues to play at this high level.
What will be interesting is to see what Miles does when/if Lee does struggle. He always waited until late in the games to ask Lee to bail us out in the past. I wonder how long he'll stick with Lee when things aren't going so well....
Hopefully we won't have to find out this season. Lee for Heisman! Welcome back JJ - to the pine!
