Not quite. George Jefferson, not George Washington. It's a pretty common mistake.
You have to remember something. This is for the guys saying pre teens would have known the answer.
Grade school students study that every day. Unless JJ is a history major, he probably hasn't taken a history course since his second semester. Couple that with nervousness and you get a name mixed up.

Hogwash....because he mixed up a name it is now obvious that he should be cut from the team and has caused irrepairable damage to LSU and the entire state.

You know people make mistakes when nervous right? That's why you can sit at home and answer questions on game shows all day, but then actually get on the show and miss it.
Some people bomb finals because they're nervous. It happens. Move on.
