He has embarrassed himself and the university by being in a position that is over his head. Clint Eastwood(Dirty Harry)once said in a movie"A man has got to know his limitations." In JJ's case, at this level it is recruiting coordinator, and I am not sure he is that good at that.

He is likely to get another year. The Georgia game was well coached. The team was ready to play against a more talented team on the road.

Ignore him. He's a troll. He'll post something outrageous and when confronted he'll disappear and not offer any explanation for his post. It's just for reaction. Textbook troll.

I'm sure he forfeits his buyout if he resigns. He will be dismissed.

I've defended my position many times, but I don't sit around glued to the rant 24/7 My position is simple: The primary problem with this team is talent, not coaching. And, some former players agree with me.

The only big criticism I have of Coach Jones was the decision not to participate in the NIT last year.

How can you really say the way the UGA game ended was good coaching? Good coaching would have taught situational basketball.

Does he lose money by resigning vs getting fired? If so, it is no wonder he is still coaching. No brainer.

We played a team with much better talent close. The team never quit. That is good coaching.

I truly hope this is no delusion, but one thing I did get tired of seeing was the team getting ahead and then allowing the opposition to go on a run from which LSU could never recover. I am hoping that the Ga. game is the end of that flaw. We can beat Tenn. and Miss. St.

This has been a terrible year for Tiger basketball and I just hope something good comes out of it here at the end.

That alone is enough to fire him. There's no excuse for that. It was embarrassing and a disgrace. It was basically a confirmation that no one wanted to play for him and he had lost control of his team. The clock was ticking at that point.

If Johnny comes back next year what do you think will happen? From recruiting on through next season...please tell me.

And that's gonna turn things around? You'd think when we lost to Kentucky on the road by only 7 that would have been the pivot point...and then tell me what happened.

No. 1 - can you honestly say this team has not underachieved with the talent at hand? 1 SEC win?

No. 2 - who is responsible for the talent at hand. Everyone including Jones knew Ben was 1 and done. This is his fifth year.

I could probably name all of them.

I'm sure Alleva approved the decision not to play in the NIT. I do agree with you - it was a bad decision. You compete. How do you build character (or have character) if you bail out?

Lets talk about what happens if Coach Jones does not return next year? The team will be bad. Unless we get a name coach (which won't happen), recruiting will be tough. I know our record doesn't help, but recruits have to know that this is mostly on the players.

Also, there are always players who want to be the hero that turns the program around. We need talent, not a new coach.

He had the #1 overall pick in the draft last season and couldn't even make the damn tournament. GTFO out with this stupid shite.
