very interesting, however, I think it would be good if we could see how many 3 and outs we had in 07 vs 09. Also how many sacks Flynn gave up vs. JJ.

"kinda like JJ missing his stat-padding game against la tech?"

maybe so. I would certainly like to think that he would have put up some good numbers.

Where are the links to these stats? Also, Early Doucet was hurt most of the year, D Byrd was a first year starter, Dickson was a soph and Lafell was absolutely horrible so you can say JJ had better receivers.

I don't mind you making your case about QB stats and such, but as far as the race comments...I didn't make any.

I'm like Stephen Colbert...I don't see color. I know JJ is black, but that's only because people tell me he is. Same with JL...I assume he's white.

Zack, was not referring to you just adding the race thing as previous poster accused us of criticizing JJ because he was black.

Also besides Bama and Florida our schedule has been terrible. Has JJ even beat a ranked team yet? UGA i guess was ranked.

that's a really big "also"

and yeah it has been cake, however, we played no elite teams in 2009 with top talent and experience

VT and OSU are not elite talents

is this really a good questions? i mean ive heard the phrase "no question is a stupid question" but this is just to much....

Lets see who is better....

Flynn who won us a national championship, or

Jefferson who hasnt done diddleepoo... besides get sacked once every 4 plays

I'll get blasted for this but MF could be moving the ball down field and Boom RP was brought in to break up the momentum and LSU would go 3 and out. This happened several times.

They were both top 5 teams in 2007

I know I posted the stats and gave JJ the nod over Flynn, but we did run a more deverse offense in 2007 compared to 2009. Is this JJ's fault for not learning enough? Could be. There are other things you have to look at besides stats - leadership, cool under pressure, etc.

Wow, two teams that finished in the top 10. Yeah they suck. Along with a ranked Florida, SC, Bama, Auburn, and maybe Ole Miss. They were playing ranked teams almost every week.

You can say Florida and Alabama only look elite because the SEC is really weak this year.

Absurd. So now beating the #1 team 38-24 and the #9 team 48-7 were against just "mediocre" teams.

Wow.

Bennie Wells, Laurenitis(sp?), Malcolm Jenkins...just off the top of head there. I'm sure there are others. These guys are doing pretty well in the NFL.

SEC is extremely weak this year compared to most. Us being in the top 10 most of the year is a perfect example of this.

By your reasoning JJ can never be a good QB because he was not recruited by other SEC teams. Despite being bumped to a 4 star,JJ was not recruited by Bama,Florida,Texas,Oklahoma,Tennessee, etc. ACC and Big X were not after him either.
