How do you know this wasn't true? If ESPN doesn't break that story on the day of the SECCG and LSU doesn't back in to the NC game he may have been proven right.

He is just a little arrogant but not that bad a guy. He thinks he knows more than he does though. He is just a bookie anyway.

he is just a bookie, but does know more than buddy or any of the talk show guys in baton rouge. is hearrogant? yes, but I would never question his sources in town.

Ott is an idiot and self proclaimed football genius. He does nothing but bash the coaching, no matter what has, is or will happen. He does NOT keep it real by any means.

I don't understand the hate for Ott, or the people on here who bash people with "sources". Its Baton Rouge, its not like we are living in New York City, why is it so hard to believe that people around town are "in the know"?? People give out info that people are dying to know and they get blasted for being wrong when things change (BelowPar) Just because the info didn't turn out the way it was said, doesn't mean that wasn't the talk at the time.

Several of the players were quoted in the newspaper as saying how much they liked their football coach and that he was the reason they came to LSU and remain here. So, I guess they must have lied to the press and tell a different story to someone else who repeats it to Jimmy Ott.
