Seems like a lie since Trindon was a freshman at LSU when Saban was coaching in the NFL
Recruiting happens years before they get on campus

But they recruited him the past 1+ years when Sabin was HC.

Nope
Trindon scored 8 touchdowns.
4 were rushing.
2 were punt returns.
2 were kickoff returns.
However, I do not know which games they were all in.

I thought that was kickoff to open a half. There's no way, absolutely no way that LSU went 39 years without a single kickoff return.

You're right. Just none of them were in TS.

I met him in person at the Peach Bowl against Georgia Tech before the game. Awesome dude. I was working with the pyrotechnic crew. I remember him being very nice to a stupid kid who couldn't help but walk up to say hello.

Why would he hide him from Saban in 2004 when Nick was at LSU last and Trindon would’ve been a sophomore in high school?

That 2006 team had no business losing any game.

Didn’t Trindon and Harry Coleman greyshirt in Saban’s last class?

Your math is missing one year because you are mixing football seasons with graduation year - the freshmen on the 2006 football season played their final year of highschool football in the fall of 2005 and therefore were juniors, not sophomores, when Saban left - and then you are missing another year because Trindon greyshirted in 2005 (delayed enrollment for a year).
Trindon's highschool football career was finished prior to Saban's final game at LSU.

From Trey Palmer's 2021 LSU bio:

Became first LSU player to return a kickoff for a touchdown in Tiger Stadium since 1981 when he did last year against South Carolina

in Tiger Stadium
Trindon had a couple on the road
Fournette had one in a bowl game
Mo Claiborne did it @ West Virginia
those are some just off the top of my head, may have been others in away or neutral games too.
