Jimbo has won 83% of his games from 2010-2015 and has lost only 5 from 2012-2015.
Les lost 5 in 2014 alone.

Your opinion is irrelevant because you are stupid. You still think Cam Cameron is the only reason why the offense sucks.

top of that he is exactly the type coach who Saban would own. Out of all the good choices out there I just don't see how his name has somehow become the favorite
Why is that the type of coach Saban would own? You say these type of things and back them up with nothing.

Les Miles had Odell Beckham, Jeremy Hill, Jarvis Landry, and Zach Mettenburger on one team. Let that sink in.
Gruden laughed about that thought on national TV. The 2011 team was the best team to not win. Followed by the 2006 team. Then you have to go with the Mettenburger teams (12 and 13) and 2010. I know you can't win a title every year but to think those 5 years are an 0'fer tells me all I need to know. And I've been "knowing" since that 2006 season. I have wanted Miles gone since.
Too bad Miles fans don't see he cost LSU at least 1-2 more NC's.

the Tigers' offense has ranked 94th or worse nationally in six of the past seven seasons. There's simply no excuse for such putrid production with the kind of talent LSU annually fields on offense. I am pretty sure tht Jimbo can improve on this.

quote:he recruited & developed him into the number 1 pick in the draft you dumbfrick. miles had to start a qb from freakin Harvard at one point.
He was lucky enough to get a Jameis Winston

Kind of like Chizik got lucky at Auburn

I hope LSU gets Jimbo to get him out of Tallahasse. Name a QB he has developed that has done ANYTHING relevant in the NFL? If it wasn't for COOK at FSU Jimbo would be 8-3/7-4. So i hope LSU can pull it off.

He's produced 3 first round draft choices at the QB position, 2 of them first overall picks, and coached 2 offenses to national titles, 1 as a head coach...
This alone makes him worth every penny of the 5+million a season LSU is about to throw at him.

He took over a program coached by the 2nd winningest coach of all time in college football (Bobby Bowden) and he has an even higher winning percentage than that coach.
When he was at LSU, we sent three QBs to the pros from the same roster and sent 5 to the pros in total that he developed. We need someone who knows how to teach our QBs and bring us a passing game to go with our running attack.
He has won the national championship as a coordinator in the SEC and as a head coach in the ACC (and he did it in only four years as the head coach).

Agree.
Tom Herman with Major Applewhite as the OC is a calculated gamble, but one I think would be worth the risk.
