Yes the new numbers are an unwelcomed change, but I do like the retun of the full stripe. All and all, I guess we can't complain too much. The classic LSU uniform basically remains the same. With shoe companies running the show uniform-wise these days, and them not giving a shite about any sort of tradition, it could be A LOT worse (See Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida a few years back, South Carolina, etc.) Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, etc. all hire "graphic designer" who apparenly have to justify their existence by changing things that no body else feels needs to be changed.

That's not true actually. The number are longer in what is normally the bottom half. They aren't symmetrical along their horizontal axis.

The numbers suck ballsack. Period. Why do we need Oregon looking numbers?? I love nike apparel and I don't buy anything Adidas or Under Armour to support my school, but why do they feel the need to randomly fock with our numbers?? It's stupid. Sucky teams change their uni's to garner attention and appeal to 17 year old recruits. This is LSU. We're winners. We don't need uniform changes at all!

Huge fan of the wrap around stripes. They're not exactly wrap around but close enough.
Old school upgrade IMHO that very much outweighs shrinking/stretching of the numbers.

the new numbers are awesome. I like them because they aren't the same old, tired block numbers that everyone has always worn forever. lsu now has it's own unique look which is very cool. the lsu on the helmet is great too.
and I love the pro combat unis, especially the 2009 arky one. I wish that gold was our permanent helmet. the yellow we wear now is horrible. yellow white yellow is an awful combination.
oh, and I love uniform changes. it's exciting. I even like Maryland's uniforms. although I don't like all of Oregon's uniforms.
somebody has to balance out the negatigers. this is not the 1950's. uniforms are creative and eye catching, which I like.

I really, really dislike the LSU the added to the top of the numbers. Really sticks out and detracts from the classic look.
