Man, I'm sure this has been said, and this is coming from someone that can't stand the tPOS mentality of some of college football's best and brightest of stars, but to think this kid would lose the chance to go college, play football, or go to jail over getting caught catching a bj from a some freshmen chick while he was a senior in high school, and then getting into a barfight is absolutely ridiculous.

I have seen nothing from Jeremy Hill that leads me to believe he's a thug, bad guy, or some type of cancer. I mean, he's pretty stupid for punching some dude while he's on probation, and under a spotlight, but other than being a dumbass, I've seen nothing that says he's a discipline problem that needs to handled. Just my two cents.

Hill snuck the dude with a right hand and the dude didnt even look phased. Hill needs to get with Moffit and work on his technique.

T.T., When I was a teacher a very long time ago, I used to take my classes every year to the local jail and let my kids see what it's like to be locked up behind bars. And if I had a problem kid, I'd try to really get his attention in a special way, with the help of the local jailer of course...lol...I would try to turn them around early before it was too late. But, I failed more times than I wish to admit. DNA and bad parents are very strong forces. But, I had my successes also. It's a crap shoot!

"Sue Bernie is a count"

Congratulations on being an idiot.

If you would read more of the newspaper besides the sports section and the funnies, you would know that Sue Bernie is damned good at her job and Baton Rouge is a much better place because of the work that she does.

She has been an ADA for 20-ish years and many of the cases she works involve putting away child molesters, rapists, and people who harm children. She is a big part of the Baton Rouge Children's Advocacy Center, which supports children who have been victims of crimes.

As far as the Hill situation, she is doing her job.

If you think she is a "count", then so be it. I appreciate the work she does for our community.

I hope Les keeps him on the team and works him hard, the Judge in talking about Cecil Collins said essentially CC pissed away a great career after LSU because of the path he chose; if anyone can get him back on the right path it`s Les, I say suspension for 4 games and let him work back into the rotation. I believe in redemption!

Hill is a great ambassador for LSU football! Hopefully LSU can recruit more great players like him. The character of a person doesn't interfere on the football field or in the locker room anyway, right?

Leonard Little drove drunk and killed a guy and still played in the NFL. This has no effect on Hill's professional career.

Personally, I'm not so concerned about any one person's redemption...that's between Hill and his conscious and his maker. Coach Miles has to see the bigger picture...what's good for LSU football. I truly believe that CM cares about each of his players and will try to do justice for J. Hill...but Hill either will walk the straight n narrow from now on out, or he is not very smart. I wish him the best! It would be great if it could be a win/win for all concerned. But, bad judgement doesn't just disappear. Go Tigers!

This is exactly right. So many worse things have been done by players. Didn't Stallworth kill a guy driving drunk too?

For simple battery? bullshite. Most people get a fine and have to go to a course on how to not solve problems with violence. Even people with priors.

Not for battery... for breaking the conditions set forth for already being on probation. Try to keep up.

Yes, but that case was a bit different. If Stallworth were sober he still would have hit the guy.

Stop being a pussy. Who the hell reads the newspaper anymore?

Here you go, I will fix it for you, since you love ole sue so much.
