I hope he takes the high road and apologizes and doesn't give the boo'ers the time of day.

You folks may be blowing this out of proportion. It would not surprise me that he simply has a player / media session. I'd bet that after the Lunch Les presser and the media meet with the players that a LOT of questions were about JJ.

It would make sense that they simply decided to stop having every player have to answer for him so they made him available for Q & A tonight.

May not be some grand press conference with a big speech, etc. Just a simple meet and answer session.

The Rabalais tweet simply says JJ will "meet" with the press. NOT "address" it.

This.

Also, Jim Kleinpeter's tweet from earlier today made it sound like JJ was just going to be available for questions.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

Obviously the media would like to ask JJ some questions since they haven't been able to talk to him since his legal troubles began.

Maybe he'll be asked if he wants a shot at redemption...another round of "Name That Jefferson"!

Because Jefferson is selfish and it is about him and not the team.

The team evidently doesn't agree with you.

I hope he doesn't come out and say that he agrees with Miles, in that everyone that boo'd him is probably a criminal

Miles said that? Please supply some documentation.
Thanks

"And it appears to me that this thing's going to be a misdemeanor," Miles continued. "Not unlike a lot of the people in the stands who possibly had similar run-ins with the law, OK. Well, I suspect that they didn't get penalized nearly as significantly as this guy. And you'd like to think maybe that when he went onto the field that he was kind of easing some of those days where he wondered if he'd ever be back. And so I wanted to get him on the field as fast as I could because you see I like Jordan Jefferson, and I think a mistake was made. And it's not one that he'll repeat."

He didnt say that. That dude was making it sound like that.

I saw some video from a press conference today and Miles said something to the effect of : To those who were booing JJ, you were booing a kid who is facing making a misdemeanor. I'm sure some of the people booing may have made a misdemeanor before.

It was something like that. He never said the word "criminal."

If it gets most of the arse holes off his back this is a good thing, this is a special team and LSU fans need to get behind them JJ is decent kid who made a mistake.

Exactly what I was thinking, and now Miles is shoving him down our throats.

Shoving him down your throat?
You aren't over reacting a little.
Is it your position that when ever Miles plays someone he is shoving that person down your throat?
Interesting view from an alleged fan to say the least.

Les had better be careful or he risks really messing with the team chemistry that had been so good up until the Kentucky game.

How do you see things that the team doesn't? They seem to be 100% behind Jefferson. What and how do you know differently?

He was obviously involved to some extent in a situation that brought a lot of negative attention to the LSU program. He needs to be apologetic for that.....

Why? You dont think he is sorry for what might have happened? the dude has sat out for 4 games.

Russell sheppard needs to apologize for being suspended to. for something he was found guilty of.
