You must not be a very big fan if you don't know who is on the team.

As other posters have pointed out, he still has a misdemeanor pending. He has to be careful with what he says, guilty or innocent.
As far as an apology, apparently the team doesn't expect or need it, so why should anyone else? I am sure that coaches can deal with any disciplinary issues internally, if any are needed. I would expect that he and Miles have had whatever conversations have been needed. I don't need to be privy to those. Neither does anyone else. The team seems to be fine with things, why isn't that enough for us? Apparently his teammates don't need or expect an apology. Why would you insist that he give one?
After the charges are disposed of, whether guilty or innocent, he can make whatever public amends are appropriate. Until then, the rest of us shouldn't worry about it. But the vehemence of so many the posters do make me think, it isn't about the apology at all.
Please don't post again. Reason and intelligence are lost on the majority of the people here.

Jefferson, the leader and most recognized face on the team was accused of kicking a guy in the face on the front page of every major sports news outlet.
i dont think Johns was supposed to lead us on a BCS title run. Hell, no one even knew he existed until this incident
its amazing how stupid some are you guys can be.

I would have been extremely impressed had he offered a public apology to the coaches and team for bringing negative attention to the team and school, regardless of the level of his involvement. That would have been a tremendous sign of humility and respect.
this is straight bullshyt, did the other 50 players level a personal apology to the team in the media.
What about Wing, Johns, T-Bob.
gtfo with that nonsense.
stop riding dick Doc, you pussy.

its real easy to call someone stupid. try actually debating.
i swear this place lacks some serious common sense.
I guess its too much to expect a player to man up and publicly show some humility, class, and respect for the coach and school that stayed committed to him through some of the worst play i have ever seen from a major D1 college football QB.
I ill say if nothing else, in his time at LSU JJ has been consistent with his comments.

I've been reading and reading. Has he actually spoke e not? I've waded thru the pages but can't find anything

Wow this thread is something else. Just a few pointers I want to point out.
To the posters who are pro-Lee, if you doubt for any second we wouldn't be undeefeated up to this point with JJ as the started, then something is seriously wrong. Our defense is credited with our wins, quite frankly our defense can make an average or below average qb look better than he really is.
To the posters wanting an apology from JJ, I am curious what he is suppose to apologize for? And why do y'all even care?
I will not be suprised if JJ's play has vastly improved but even then, some of you still won't shut up about him.

No offense, but the reason we are winning is the fact that our defense is playing amazing and our offense has been efficient without turnovers. We've got 3 in 5 games this season. JJ has yet to prove he's improved and won't turnover the ball, so assuming we win WVU, UO, and MSU with him is making an arse out of yourself.
Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? No one will know until JJ proves he's not a turnover machine this year (10 INTs + 8 fumbles last season on his own).

We would have beaten all the teams on our schedule thus far with JJ.
It isn't like we have played stout defenses thus far.

that's the truth, but there are some on here who are so vested in Lee that they wouldn't be able to see that.

And you are not vested in JJ????
I don't get this shite. Why do you people have to have one over the other???

Also Redzone Efficiency.
In 2010:
Redzone Scores = 86%
Redzone Touchdowns = 53%
In 2011:
Redzone Scores = 96% (damn you Randall)
Redzone Touchdowns = 83%

How am I making an arse out of myself? All the teams we've played thus far has had fits with our D, especially by creating turnovers. We beat MSU with our D and with field goals, we beat UO with turnovers, we beat WVU with turnovers and field position. I doubt JJ would've fricked any of that up. YOU do not know how much he's improved.
