You sure enjoy calling people names.
Remind me of grade school days... you have it down pat.
Get on to bed now.. school bus will be by early in the am.

I would have been extremely impressed had he offered a public apology to the coaches and team for bringing negative attention to the team and school, regardless of the level of his involvement. That would have been a tremendous sign of humility and respect.

Why do people really care? Why is JJ even speaking to the media? Let the kid practice and play his game. He's dealing with enough, and is suffering consequences.
Saw a few of his quotes from the presser, and came away impressed for the most part. Seems like he's willing to do what the team needs him to do, and still has the drive to be the starter. He means it by putting in the work to earn it. Nothing wrong with that.
Good luck to you JJ. Most LSU fans support you.

There was no way in Hell that for some of you Jefferson could have said anything that would lessen your animosity toward him. You want an execution and nothing less will be enough.
True

Isn't going to help him, I am sure.

As other posters have pointed out, he still has a misdemeanor pending. He has to be careful with what he says, guilty or innocent.
As far as an apology, apparently the team doesn't expect or need it, so why should anyone else? I am sure that coaches can deal with any disciplinary issues internally, if any are needed. I would expect that he and Miles have had whatever conversations have been needed. I don't need to be privy to those. Neither does anyone else. The team seems to be fine with things, why isn't that enough for us? Apparently his teammates don't need or expect an apology. Why would you insist that he give one?
After the charges are disposed of, whether guilty or innocent, he can make whatever public amends are appropriate. Until then, the rest of us shouldn't worry about it. But the vehemence of so many the posters do make me think, it isn't about the apology at all.

GTFO dude.
Jefferson, the leader and most recognized face on the team was accused of kicking a guy in the face on the front page of every major sports news outlet.
i dont think Johns was supposed to lead us on a BCS title run. Hell, no one even knew he existed until this incident.

it's never his fault. both on or off the field.
But thanks to you, we know that it's all his fault every time, right?

You must not be a very big fan if you don't know who is on the team.
