There was nothing JJ could have said trhat would have appeased those that are completely sold on hating him.

I get that., but the media and tens of thousands of fans who judge werent there. All they hear is what they are told, none of which has done JJ any favors.
So, here is JJs first chance to speak. people like humility. Insisting youre good when your not isnt going to win anyone over. Neither is insisting youve done nothing wrong when you have.
Is goal should havce been to win in the court of public opinion. He did himself no favors tonight.
